“Life is like a lousy drama.” "Life is sometimes very cruel...Everyone has a hard time. Even me.
In general, the film can be disassembled into a bunch of cool instructive quotes, since it teaches about a lot, resorting to pathetic speeches said at the time, in the right place.
But in order:
I came out on the director Lee Jae-yong completely by accident and, I don’t remember why, I watched his musical. And when it came time to watch it, I was surprised!
From the first minutes, the film drags with its peculiar narrative, amazing camera work and good music.
In the first five minutes, he manages to laugh at all possible religions, prejudices, clichés and simple life!
The plot of the film consists of several life stories of several heroes, but intertwined with some details - everything takes place in the same city, with students of the same class, namely the class - "Ultra-Atheists", and in the end, one way or another, the characters solve their problems.
The film, through characters, mocks the "problems" of our time:
- There is a womanizer who has 178 girls and 9800 love messages, who learns about real, trouble-free and all-consuming love.
- There is an outcast here - who, because of his distinctive feature, cannot live a normal life;
The envious girl who wants to be in the first place all the time, and she also falls into the clutches of the monster first (I am sure this is not accidental);
- And finally, the main character played by Kim Ok-pin, she is Ta-yu from the film Park Chang-wook “Thirst”, appears before us in the image of a lonely, sad girl, in addition to a poor one, who tries to make ends meet in every possible way. For which she gets into trouble, which ultimately leads her to the "right track".
Oddly enough, but behind all this absurdity and laughter there is a deep meaning, and at the end of the film we literally flood with tears.
It was so sad and plausible to show the moment with poverty.
But despite the subtext and strong ideas, the film amuses us from beginning to end, making us laugh from the heart from every moment, not giving even a five-minute respite!
"Let me have the cover of heaven,
"
Embroidered with gold and silver,
And blue, and pale, and dark cover,
Shining in the morning, midnight silver.
I would put them at your feet.
But I am a poor man, and I have only dreams.
At your feet I stretch my dreams;
Go easy, you are trampling on dreams.
