Unexpected treasure. How strange to see such a movie. That is, usually, everything high-quality and good is quite heavily advertised, you can find a lot of information, teasers, trailers and so on, and there is a complete lull. Even on a site like this, there is no translation of the title and description of the plot (at least at the time of writing the review).
Well, since there's no show of the plot, I'll bring it. A little girl with her father travels through the expanses of America, not staying long in one place. One day he comes across leaflets with missing persons, and finds himself among them. In parallel, they show the story of an old sheriff who leads his own investigation into the search for his granddaughter.
Did I like the movie? Of course! This is a very deep and heartfelt picture, with a powerful message. The actors play great, and given the lack of big names, it’s doubly pleasing. The camera work, though not at the Oscars, is still great. There is also the right atmosphere and a soundtrack that emphasizes it.
To be fair, I will talk about the disadvantages of the work, although they are extremely relative. Overly smooth, the narrative moves slowly and there is an excess of close-ups. If you like action and dynamics, there is nothing to do.
Outcome: This creature must be known! Great drama, which is undeservedly deprived of attention.
