Went down the bridge “Pop walked on the bridge, the hat was blown away by the wind, jumped, jumped, did not get it – they took him to the army” – this is the approximate content of the “Destination on Przevo”. Shot on a video camera, the film of the “fashionable” director at the level of the script is a verbal vinaigrette, and at the level of directing gives rise to a dark chaos of empty images. Grammarless translation of subtitles turns this work of art into a subject of reflection. To understand what is going on in the movie is almost impossible. An agricultural village, elections, the search for national identity, a land named Montenegro, NATO helicopters, Russian brothers, a church-harlot (quoted on the “Miracle Unseen”), imaginary death, the declaration of independence, sea resorts are healing, motorcycles are fast, and so on.
Putting aside the jokes, I had a strong impression that a group of friends, namely Drasko Djurovic, Momcilo and Marta Pichurcic, bought a video camera and filmed each other in different outfits between receptions of rakija. After “Transport to Prczevo”, even “The Best Film” will seem to you deserving of its title.
