Doll games Today I was lucky enough to go to the 1933 film "I'm Suzanne."
The film tells a very common story about a woman (a ballerina), whom I see as a beautiful but soulless doll, no matter where she works or who she works: either acts as a prima ballerina in a cheap play, or as a puppeteer in a puppet play. Eventually, she finds herself through love. A film with music, very sweet, funny and a little sad, as the girl, and no one hears: (And although she seems happy, but a person, the personality in her no one notices.)
It’s interesting how the heroine’s emotional twists are served. A lot of puppet characters are used. It is thanks to such inserts that critics refer the film to surrealism. At some point, it seems that this is the prototype of our modern virtual technologies. Added to this is the idea of a film where real feelings are replaced by treating people like things. The unusual play of the actress herself, her makeup, she very accurately conveys the image of a porcelain statuette. A lot of expression through facial expressions, dance.
Overall, the overall impression is positive.
