Ram against all or you can't kill Ram. Another movie, as I called it. I could not even imagine that this is almost one-on-one like the 1994 film "Chetah", Mithun Chakroborty! Only taken a year later, and instead of Mithun - Jackie Shroff, instead of Gulshan Grover - Aditya Pancholi, instead of Ashwini Bhave - Dipti Bhatnagar, instead of Shikhi Swarup - Manisha Koiral, and instead of Prema Choprahb>Korra/b>Korra/b> But I still looked with interest. There are also many coincidences with the film "Guardian of the Law" with Sunil Shetty, Karishma Kapoor and Sonali Bendre

The main character of the film Ram Singh (Jackie Shroff) rescues the police commissioner in an armed attack, and thanks to Rama the leader of the criminal group Dhoga (Anupam Kher) receives a prison term of 5 years. Dhoga vows to take revenge RamaRama>Rama And over the years Ram becomes a police officer and falls in love with the sister of his partner Kavi (Aditya Pancholi) - Anju (Manish Koiral). Time passes, and the young marry, and they already have a son, when suddenly Dhoga comes out of prison and is eager to avenge the years spent in prison. He's been waiting so long.
In general, Anupam Kher as the leader of the gang is impressive, first of all with his appearance - completely bald (smoothly shaved head), with pale gray evil eyes and, the most disgusting smile he is capable of. Yes, and negative roles he always manages to brilliantly, such a villain is still looking for, and in my opinion, he always eclipses in such roles, the most villainous villain of those years - Prem Chopra, and with him Amrish Puri, Raza Murad, Dalip Tahila, Mukesh Rishi and others. By the way Mukesh Rishi here also played, and again a notorious scoundrel, Satpala, the younger brother of the gang leader Dhogi

Whether this film was a hit or a super hit when it was released, I do not know, but I think that "Chetah" he could not get around (although "Chetah", if my memory does not change, then failed at the box office, apparently so this story was reshot a year later, another director). Although, this film is very good in the part of the action movie. Everything is well done and quite at the level. Good script, good directing, fantastic soundtrack and cool roles. The second half is better, with more complex actions and villains who fail to kill our Ram who fights and takes revenge. Here the director Sanjay Gupta tried to fame.
But the songs Ana Malik, oddly enough, not everyone liked (although usually all his songs please me), and here it was just unpleasant to listen to all these club songs with hard-to-receive music, hitting nerves, and to see half-naked girls writhing on stage to this music.
There are only two lyrical songs that perform Jackie and Manisha like a couple in love. By the way, as a pair of Jacks and Manisha looked good (reminded me of a couple from the film "Here comes love", where he was paired with Kajol), tall, strong, even I would say powerful Jackie, and a thin, fragile statuette (in) Manisha, which was completely lost in his arms. But the duo turned out decent, it was nice to look at them.
I really liked the handsome Aditya Pancholi as an inspector Kavi, a loyal friend and partner Rama. I love Aditya in positive roles, in my opinion, this role is very suitable for him. In negative roles, my heart does not perceive him very well, he has a kind look and a charming smile. And here right at the point, perfect in the role.
And of course, it was not without Johnny Lever, who was responsible, as usual, for humor in the film. A, Alok Nath on the contrary in a negative role, a corrupt lawyer and a faithful dog Dhonggi. I find him particularly unpleasant here. I don’t know why, I’ve seen him in negative roles more than once, but here his fake oil smile, and cunning look, look repulsive, although he played his character, as always, with dignity.
In general, "Ram vs. All" is a worthy film, and not as tough as the original Hollywood action movie "It's Hard to Kill" (1990) with Stephen Seagal in the lead role, in which the "Chetah" was first filmed, and then this film (he is not a remake of >> All fans of Jackie Shroff, and especially Anupam Kher will definitely like it. And fans of Indian militants of the 90s of the last century, too, will please. I liked it, it was a great story.
