If you want a piece of nostalgia, remember the drawing of Sailor Moon, Evangelion or Berserk, watching this anime will be very pleasant. “Tokyo Project” is almost unknown to us anime, the plot there is strange: inside the story everything is coherent and logical, but the beginning comes from nowhere, and the finale goes nowhere. Just some guys with a mysterious background in the center of a fantastic action movie in the style of late Tom Cruise. This feature is more like a couple of pilot episodes of the anime series, where it would later become clear what these guys are, and why they are so cool; maybe the story has a sequel, but I unfortunately do not know about it.
With a very simple plot and misunderstandings with the backstory, the characters are very cute. Here villains are villains, heroes are heroic, no gray morals. That's nice, too. For that time, it is quite natural, for example, to recall the “Spider-Man” of 1994 or “X-Men” of 1992, when good always conquers evil, and does not let endless snots and does not fall into an existential crisis. Teenagers don't need that. Morality must be understood in order to learn it.
"Tokyo Project" is a good anime, both adults and children will like it.
