Role played. Mask off. Curtain. Let's go. In the summary of the short film - the whole plot. It consists, in fact, of one scene: the actor understands that everything is over, and, as a hero of classical Russian literature, talking about what will go home, conceptually withdraws into himself, which leads to a tragic ending (at this moment you can let a tear, if you want).
After viewing not a single thought comes to mind, except – gentlemen, have you read Chekhov, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy and other classics to play a remotely similar dramatic episodes from their works, but such a meaningless (although allegedly “deep” and “philosophical”) number? Of course, the theme of hypocrisy and human loneliness in the crowd is a “cash cow” for thousands of screenwriters, and it can be developed in different ways, only in “Actor’s Death” it is minimized, and why to shoot a minimum with the probability of a small maximum – I do not know. Well, there was a lyceum. He's tired of everything. Suddenly something broke in his soul. And? So what? Something incomprehensible. Just a scene with a terrible outcome called "I entered the role of a dead man, wearing the appropriate mask, and threw the old one away, because it was my life."
Applause. Bravo. No one could do that.
It would be ideal to supplement the plot with other details, to paint the hero’s depression more saturated and try to shoot not such a straightforward video, but something close to something professional, taking for the soul. However, some people cannot give the camera in their hands: having received it and all the opportunities for shooting, they will either ruin everything or be lazy to do better. And one here is the same as the other.
