A triumphant comeback, YEAH! After the release of the band’s unsuccessful album St. Anger and the disgusting tour in support of this album, few people believed that Metallica, which everyone knew and loved, would return.
In 2008, the quartet released its ninth studio album, Death Magnetic. Not to say that this is just something outstanding, however, it is immediately clear that there is still gunpowder in the powderboxes. Then, in 2009, the live album "Francais pour une nuit" was released and it looked as if the broom had stepped back on the old rake - a tour in support of the album, and 2-3 songs were played from it. As someone who loves Metallica primarily for their music and not as four personalities, I was very annoyed. How so, the album is good, and we continue to throw old hits, albeit very cool, but already endlessly bored. In addition to everything - disgusting work of the operator and bad sound. in 2012, the ensemble decided to retreat. So "Quebec Magnetic"
On the way out, we got a first-class concert and it immediately became clear - MetallicA back! set list consisting of 26 great songs from almost all albums (unfortunately, nothing left: the scandalous, and most advanced album of the group - Load and ugly duckling St.Anger). The new director was able to shoot the group so that he does not leave the sense of presence, not forgetting to shoot the crowd, but not overdoing it. Magnificent visual and pyrotechnic effects. Incredible drive.
If you are a fan of the band, this live album, along with "Live Shit: Binge & Purge" and "Cunning Stunts" is a must-watch, you will not regret it.
Take my hand - we're off to never-never Land
