Atypical art house film of Uzbek cinema It is hard to imagine that this is the first review for such a rare good film of Uzbek filmmaking.
It's a local art house. Not everyone is watching and not everyone knows about it.
The film tells about the problems of a man leading a nomadic lifestyle and his family during the difficult period of stagnation of the 80s. While watching, you feel like you’re watching a theater show. A show that was shot under the open sky. And one of the main characters of this film is the surrounding nature. serene and frightening, with all the beauty and danger.
Acting is on top. Rano Shodiyeva (starred in the film Homeland), who, as always, takes on unusual roles in films, despite a certain feature of the heroine, conveys with her play all that a woman experiences when she finds herself in a normal situation for Uzbeks, where a young girl marries an adult callous peasant (Nazim Tulyakhodjaev).
The film tells about the fate of a person, about the attitude of fathers and sons, about the desire of children to leave the eternal care of parents.
I saw this movie 10 years ago and didn’t regret it. I would recommend watching.
