About love and not just... I don’t really like Russian TV series, but it so happened that the premiere of this series fell on my vacation. From nothing to do included in the evenings the First channel and, as they say, involved. The series was interesting, and therefore I really wanted to speak.
Firstly, it is very pleasant to see new faces on the screen, the same actors in the main roles are tired, and then two main characters are completely new faces for the Russian audience. There are not enough new types on the screen, so for me it was just a breath of fresh air! Thanks.
Secondly, K. Zhandarov liked him very much in a role that I think is unusual for him. After all, whatever you turn on the series, so he is a scoundrel, then an insidious seducer, then a typical major, and here he is completely different: kind, intelligent, fair, noble. She believed Zhandarov and for the first time looked at him as an actor. Thank you for this pleasant discovery!
Thirdly, the series, despite the frank shortcomings, stamps and other shoals of our melodramas, has obvious advantages, but about them a little later. .
I would like to consider in detail the image of the main character-Lia. Very pleased that the screen appeared female image, which is so badly lacking (in the movies, in life). This is an image of true femininity, which stands out against the background of modern emancipated female society, which bribes the male sex (not for nothing do the heroine fall in love almost at first sight). Now there are so many independent, business-like women who strive in everything, if not above men, then on an equal footing with them in almost everything, that a similar female image is a balm for the soul, soothing (they say, it is still normal in our world, since there are women who can be real guardians of the hearth). This is exciting and that is what the main character should learn. She is happy to cook a man, she is happy to chore around the house, she is happy to serve a man like a woman, she does not try to seem stronger and more independent than a man. In my opinion, all this is very lacking for modern women. In addition, it is worth noting: Leah is selfless and not spoiled, and this, we must agree, is a rare quality among modern girls. But, of course, the heroine is not perfect, critics of her image emphasize the lack of education, poor development, etc. Although I am not on the side of negative reviews (the image of the Line is close to me), I still cannot but agree that Leah in this series turned out to be, I think, not deep enough (but this, rather, is a flaw of the writers of the script). Still, according to the authors, Leah is simple, but not empty (a very important point!) Also, I don’t understand how such a clean, domestic girl could contact a type like Carlson (apparently, the authors decided to emphasize the sacrifice of the heroine). In general, the image of the main character seems to me not very well worked out (somewhat blurred) and contradictory - this is definitely not liked, and in general the image fell to my liking, even, I would say, hooked. In the end, education now every second, but receptivity to this world, soulfulness, talent to be a good wife is not given to everyone. Nikita knew that right away. After all, he lost his parents, like no other, much needed care, warmth and comfort. It is unlikely that all this could give him a glamorous and capricious Light. She's a bird on the wrong flight, so the choice of the protagonist for me was more than logical and motivated. In addition, despite the difference in social status, Lia and Nikita are very spiritually close. Before meeting with Leah, the main character seemed to be asleep, it was she (by her appearance) who indicated to him what he should be, what he really is. The theme of returning to oneself through love is, in my opinion, one of the main ideas of the series.
I liked that the series is not so much a love affair, as the idea and meaning of the idea lies in its title. I was genuinely surprised that some viewers didn’t understand why the film was called that (whatever it was!). But it is enough to recall the first series, where Nikita first looked at Leah, when she was lying on the sofa, and the window suddenly blew the wind and then fell calendar, behind which there was a photo of Nikita. The wind was sudden and light, but he had enough strength to disturb the order of things on the table. In my opinion, this scene already makes it clear: Leah in this story is the very wind that burst into the life of the hero, will change her unrecognizability. In the series there are enough scenes (including screaming under trees), in which there is something mystical, fatal, inevitable.
The film also has very relevant topics: can very different (socially) people be together and how does society relate to this? Is there a man who is not a man who is a man who is not a man who is a man who is not a man who is a man who is a man? Can a person be stronger than his habits and make the right choice?
So, from the obvious minuses of the series: some scenes with lovers personally seemed to me sweet-sweet, confused by the incompleteness of the image of the main character, did not like some caricature in the images of bandits, the powerful of this world, etc.
Of the obvious advantages: high-quality acting, brilliant camera work (especially the final scenes) and, of course, a musical lyrical theme, carrying into the world some unearthly purity and tenderness. .
I note that not so often in ordinary melodramatic series you can find such beautiful music.
