What if Siddhartha Gautama decided to become a superhero? He'd probably get bored, dull, "Push the button and you'll get the result." Why aren't you happy? A very philosophical film, with a lot of humor.
In a special way looks 'Wanpunchman', when he got acquainted with the kitchen of the Writers' Union - seriously, the feeling that it was from our SPR mangaka drew his Association of Heroes (at the end of the second season, an allusion to alternative unions appears). Probably, the fact is that the structure of any public organization, any association with its hierarchy, tends to turn into something that the authors laugh (without malice and - including) '. Intra-party intrigues, coalitions, substitution of real achievements with the pursuit of the local currency, gradations and unspoken rules and so on and so forth – and there is something to think about – including what to rethink.
In general 'Wanpunch' first interested in the likes of 'antizavyazka' - it was interesting to see how the authors will be able (and will be able) to build an interesting plot around the ultra-imbo character (and not repeat the arch of Clark Kent).
Got it! Oh, yeah!
As a result, the anime of two seasons and 24 episodes firmly settled in my personal top - somewhere between ' Blade, dissecting demons' and ' Death Note ' and even very strong 'Claymore' moved. Because yes, the authors were able to build a cool and deep (and funny) story around an imba, around Clark Kent, if you will, if Kent adds immunity to Scriptonite. In a sense, you can learn storytelling again from anime - tricks, arches of characters, their interaction, sewing the serious into the funny and so on.
Before us is the story of Saitama - one of the most charismatic characters of Ever, the strongest superhero, coping with an opponent of any level of danger in one blow. At the same time, Saitama is endowed with such a level of uncomplicated charm that he turns into (a) a hero who is simply interesting to watch, no matter what he does, and (b) a memas factory.
The real story spins like a jar of cucumbers since Saitama joined the local Union (crossed out) local Association of superheroes, on the interaction with which we are waiting for half of the witty, deep and allegorical plot moves. And around Saitama, a whole kaleidoscope of bright and worked out (or not specially worked out) characters crumbles, for which it is equally interesting to observe and to which (not everyone) one is imbued with sympathy.
At the same time, the first two or three series are something very controversial, rolling into thrash, and they just need to sit out - everything interesting will begin after them. But as it begins - and only squander the endings for the sake of a new series (in general, it is not recommended to do this, some places hide scenes after the credits).
In addition to the plot and characters, the viewer is waiting for a ton, tons of simply action, cool, and sometimes chic, humor, decent drawing and the atmosphere of rock and roll drive, emphasized by themes from the openings.
Season three! And we recall that the main activity of a member of the creative union is creativity, and not participation in the intra-union ' King of the Mountain'
“What a bunch of monsters... It doesn't matter, they're coming to pick up the trash soon! ?
In search of another anime, I decided to choose something light and short. The choice fell on this title for the reasons described above and a good rating.
The plot revolves around an unemployed young man who is given a turnaround at every interview. Our hero is so tired of this that once he met a monster crab, he decided that let it burn all in flames and decides to finally follow his old dream, namely, to become a hero. A few years later, our failed office plankton turn bald, wear a bright yellow suit, and scatter all enemies in one blow.
Honestly, I admit the first couple of series are some inconspicuous or something, but it is necessary to endure it and a very interesting action will begin, from which it is already difficult to break away. The characters here are very colorful, memorable. Saitama’s appearance is notable, suddenly bald by the age of 25, a character who for the time being is a hero for fun and laments that he is so strong. Genos is a cyborg who once met our bald man on the verge of death and suddenly realized that only he could help him become stronger, as a result of which he settled at Saitama for a rather plump pack of banknotes.
The secondary characters are also quite interesting, but they unfold quite slowly during the anime - at the end of the first or beginning of the second season. Hero cyclist, Snake, Mrs. Vyuga, supersonic Sonic and many others, whose names can not be remembered, but on a cursory glance you can remember.
I love the absurd world in which we live. You want to go to visit or go to a friend, and then the monster and all (in principle, everyday routine) is announced. How to call the city, you can come up with a beautiful and unusual name, well, there are no capital letters of the ordinary alphabet. We have monsters appear minute by minute, come up with a clever system of protection – no, heroes scattered around the globe, the number of which is in the hundreds will be enough. Our chief analyst, Professor Neznamus, is silent that the situation is complicated without even words. These gags are unobtrusive and look easy.
Although the anime is built on the templates of superhero fighters and their simultaneous breaking, the creators do not forget about the so-called semantic content. This is most evident in the example of Saitama. Although he destroys opponents with one poke, but he does not fully receive joy from life. Having become a hero according to documents, he believes that the determining criterion is strength, the incorrectness of this is explained to him by the weakest hero of the upper class of heroes (hello, great strength is a great responsibility). Just as one person by example can inspire confidence and hope. As an example, the older sister puts pressure on the younger, thereby suppressing the potential of the latter. And there are not so many themes that are difficult to see with a bright banter, but nevertheless there are and this distinguishes this work favorably.
The animation here looks very decent - it is bright, colorful, detailed. The dynamics really, in my opinion, lame. If in the first season it is, it looks normal, then in the second season it is some uneven, abrupt. I liked the opening of the first season, the endings are quite long. Audio in general on anime for me at all somehow tarnished. The dialogue really liked, it seems, nothing special, but catch their humor and good phrases (“You have 20 words”, “I don’t care about your problems, complain about the meteorite”).
According to the result, a very banal anime in a good sense, which will suit as entertainment for a couple of evenings, with an excellent visual series, charismatic characters, an alternative absurd world and a pinch of good problems.
Nice anime. Probably the most bungled I've ever seen. Good parody and banter on the shōnens. I rarely laugh at anime, but I laughed at it. But, what is important, the series does not dwell on the genre of parody and remains original - it is interesting to watch even without the context of ridiculing tired clichés.
Most of all, of course, attracts the concept of an absolutely invincible hero who literally defeats any enemy with one blow, from which the name follows. By the way, it is curious that no one has ever called Wanpunchman Saitama for two seasons.
The complete absence of any intrigue (the viewer knows for sure that the main character will defeat the enemy in one blow, and this is how it happens), oddly enough, arouses interest and feels something new and fresh. Even Superman, a classic invincible character, had a vulnerable spot and never beat anyone on the first strike, but still causes boredom. And here the idea of an all-powerful hero is brought to the limit but this, on the contrary, is fascinating, although it would seem that it should not.
And I have a lot of respect for the fact that the creators never once departed from the iron rule of one stroke, although the temptation to do it was great and not alone. I knew immediately that as soon as Saitama didn't put someone down from the first strike (maximum from the second, if there are nuances), Wanpunchman would end there (at least for me). But it's still going on, which is good. It is also good that the author did not even try to come up with and explain the reason why the main character got such power. He just has it and it’s all worth taking for granted.
Saitama himself is a very attractive and funny character. I'd love to hang out with him - he's a nice guy, a simple kid who cares more about the market sell-off than any of the worst villains.
But one anime does not hold on it - secondary characters are also interesting: Genos is cool, Sonic is a colorful femboy, Homo-Zac has a separate respect, and in the second season there was also a villain-BDSM-girl, who is simply the embodiment of sexual objectification. Also in the second season, there is a character without superpowers, who everyone considers the strongest, because Saitama secretly kills monsters for him - this is also a cool innovation.
However, the second season as a whole, I liked less than the first, because there the emphasis finally shifts from the main character to the secondary ones, which are too many. Some of them are interesting, but anime still should not be about them. I understand that it is impossible to drag the concept of an invincible hero who overcomes everyone with the first blow for a long time and you have to somehow get out, pushing him into the background, but in the second season Saitama does almost nothing, and sometimes does not take part in the action at all. Even Genos, his student, had more screen time.
But the undoubted advantage of the second season over the first still has - it is a full-fledged villain Garro. A villain with a simple but understandable motivation, and able to elicit sympathy. The first season lacked a single antagonist. However, Garro’s antagonism is more aimed at secondary heroes than at the main one. Saitama, alas, even in relation to Garro continues to remain on the second, or even third plane.
Well, the last minus, which I will point out, is rather temporary and conditional, but still - very few episodes. In 7 years, there were 24 episodes. I don’t remember a slower series coming out. I missed that at all. I want more. Of course, next year they promise a third season, but it will be again for 12 episodes, and then again for several years to wait. It wouldn’t be such a problem if every season was a complete story, but it’s not – there are a lot of storylines and intrigues in the series that haven’t been revealed since the first season. This anime has the potential of series at least a hundred, but the creators are in no hurry. It makes me sad, I feel unfulfilled potential.

Anime lovers can advise to relax for a couple of evenings under this title and chill, but it is better to start, of course, after the release of season 3, to hook more.
Having done a combo that combines reading the first 15 beats of the manga, as well as bonuses that are apparently included to double a serving of tastelessness from One and Yusuke Murata, I made a voluntary harakiri, also overpowering half of the first season of the series of the same name. This torture was committed in order to get acquainted with what the adolescent environment lives and breathes and I believe that these circles of hell have passed with dignity, stopping viewing on the golden middle, saving my mind.
Before us is an unpretentious history of the city of Z, as its inhabitants and storming from the series to the serenity of the villainous town, unquestioningly require the viewer to lull his brain. In attempts to disassemble all the clichés and stupidities of the superhero world into atoms, the creators of this universe fall into the trap of the world of superheroes, adding only a particle of pepper to the riot of endless destruction and fights. Only occasionally there are ridicules of long meaningless monologues about the past of the hero and their losses, during which even an insect does much more useful, but this is negligible.
Most of the series consists of attempts at humor, which, apparently, in the opinion of the creators of the project, you need to laugh, whether it is a boy with a chin-singing, or a naked Saitama, throwing away children's jokes. Villains sent to destroy the almighty bald guy could easily migrate to the continuation of the Defenders of Andreasyan, whether it is a kind of gorilla Grodd, a mosquito girl, a killer crab, a hardheaded one and it's not a damn funny thing. It's tasteless.
His Lex Luthor is also here with the motivation to make a new evolution among humans. He keeps circling and circling with his clones in search of his superman and finds him in Saitama but too quickly realizes his worthlessness.
The most mocking episode is the attempt of the hard-headed to make revenge on the main rich of the city. This attempt fails with the realization that behind any rebellion lies an unwillingness to work. This is a real mockery of the authors impregnated with good morality, in the end turns into another pursuit of feeding the substance to the letter g.
The appearance of new characters such as Sonic and Sweet Mask, as well as schools for superheroes can turn their heads and finally get lost in this whirlpool of meaningless events.
Without a doubt, the cretinism of superhero universes here is elevated to the absolute and this parody only copies all the nonsense over which he is amused. I never really believed in conspiracy theories to stupefy teenagers and all of humanity, but how to explain the replication and favorable reception of this mix if not this? Originally in the form of web pictures, the story has acquired the need for mass book printing and the creation of the animated series of the same name, which speaks only of the complete degradation of the consumer society. After six episodes of the series, the head goes cotton, but there is a good way to recover and bring the mind back to clear thinking - this is a review of classic films. Visconti, Has, Carne - to help you forget this gum for the two hemispheres of the brain, which exists not only for entertainment, but also for stupor.
One should not condemn lovers of manga anime and other minor nonsense, one should only hope that they will grow up and become acquainted with the great paintings of the twentieth century in order to obtain a vaccine for such a galimatia.
How do you feel about superheroics? I will speak for myself - the concept of rocks in latex that save the world & #39; for just so & #39; at least ridiculous. It smells like a whole bunch of mental illnesses and perversions. A man as a child was attacked by bats and he decided to become a ninja in a BDSM suit with a bunch of gadgets to ' punish ' villains at night. But the most important thing in heroism is its pompous nobility and high morality. A pervert cannot sleep in a suit unless he has saved at least 100 people a day.
How about this portrait of the hero:
- Bald
25 years, 3 of them hero
- No money.
Always looking for stock in stores
Actual homeless, lives in an abandoned area
- Makes friends with a cyborg virgin, a nerd-liar and some old people.
He never remembers anything and is always late.
- Ready to be friends for food
Why is he so strong? Well, being still an ordinary guy, he developed his own technique 'kacha', but his body did not withstand the load and because of the many 'micro-deaths' the Universe itself (maybe Yog-Sothot himself) can not process ' and he goes into the mode of the very character of the role-playing game, which you pumped to the maximum, and he began to endure everyone at once. Krch, there is no point in playing for him, there will be no challenge, AI is doomed. This is not a spider bite and will not be born on ' necessary ' the planet is immediately God.
Humanity has no chance with this 'superman' Absolutely true, but nobody knows him yet, and everyone is saved by latex guys who, like monsters, are born of neglected fetishism. But at least the heroism is monetized, not bad. And the end of the world is near, whether it is today, or tomorrow, or in six months.
What are our hero's goals? He wants to eat, play games and find a worthy opponent. And the problem with the latter is that no one is equal to him. Well, as an option, you can succumb to the villain and tolerate his pathetic speeches in anticipation of the next 'ults'.
What am I talking about? And the fact that in the comedy setting heroism is a good way for a creative Japanese. You can do epic battles of heroes with villains, where there will be risk and epic, and a parallel comedy meeting of a super monster and a Glavhero who came out to complain about the noise under the window.
The first season is good in everything, the second due to the change of studio - bad in terms of drawing, read the manga, there is a full epic and detail. And remember: The dungeons from the first series are the toughest.

The concept of this anime does not imply anything interesting. Its name speaks for itself. 1 stroke. . .
I didn’t expect anything more, I just wanted to see something new. But after a few episodes, I realized I wanted more!
The animation here is definitely on top, even in simple scenes you feel what is done with soul and love. And when it comes to combat, there is just a jaw hanging from the epic of what is happening.
But 1 stroke! You’re right, but the story revolves around other characters. Each of them is unique, their abilities are worked out enough that you do not think that they are here to fill the scenes.
Plot? As such, I did not notice the plot here, but it is not necessary. The necessary minimum is present, and in my opinion, it is quite concise. The most important thing is the battle! Humor is even skillfully written here, but this is typical for many anime works, so it is more than classic here.
In general, I advise you to watch, even those who do not particularly like anime, you will definitely like it!
Just as I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I love all sorts of superhero parodies. The Americans have, for example, “Hancock” and “Kick-Ass”, and the Japanese have “Wanpunchman”. And this is the tower, I think.
A more absurd and at the same time profound thing on this subject can not be found. The main distinguishing feature of “Wanpunchman” is that there is no eternally overcoming and overcoming the main character. Saitama does not need to strain to defeat villains, he does it with one stroke. But no matter how comical situations this does not follow, in his monstrous power lies the most tragic character. Escaped from the fate of office plankton, the main character devoted himself to training and overdone. He has become so powerful that his life as a superhero no longer makes sense. Saving civilians is one thing, but apathy in battle is another. Saitama cannot find a worthy rival who could dispel his boredom. In other words, after the change of activity, his life did not play with new colors, but remained the same gray as during work in the office.
And here, of course, friends take up the business. In the course of the plot, more and more people gather around the unemotional and rather unsociable protagonist, and life no longer seems so dull. After all, even if there are no rivals in real battles, you can always find a worthy opponent in a computer game. And the cyborg shining around, sincerely worried about the baldness of his mentor and friend, is both annoying and affectionate.
Of course, home gatherings are constantly interrupted by reports of an attack by villains. Despite the peculiarity of the main character, the fights in this anime deserve a separate mention. Studio Madhouse tried to make them bright, memorable and fit into the overall surreal concept.
And while Wanpunchman is not a typical shōnen, it still raises very serious questions. For example, the consequences of rash actions of people endowed with great power, or unreasonable ostracism of the individual.
Even if it’s been two years since the second season, I’m still looking forward to it. I really want to see in animation that part of the story, which is now available only on the pages of the manga.

"Wanpunchman" is an example of how anime, and indeed the series can have an excellent first season. About the second such words can not say, and it spoils the general impression, but about that later.
When you start watching One Punch Man, you see the usual pattern: the superhero fights every time with the so-called “enemies of the evening” or “anti-heroes of the episode”. There are signs of the genres of tokusatsu and shōnen. But, first of all, Saitama (actually speaking, the main character) cannot be looked at without a smile, the guy “just dabbles in exploits”, i.e. heroism is a hobby, plus a reason not to look for a job. But his appearance does not correspond to the usual heroic, you know, the young man worked hard (push-ups, running) - this is the key to success, and not in fantasy chips and mysticism. And this is already a successful banal banal “heroic”.
Saitama lives in the City of Z, which often turns out to be various monsters, encroaching on the hero of “Wanpunchman”, or even on the world on a planetary scale. And everything about Saitama’s handling of these issues, as well as his day-to-day activities, going to supermarkets is not just fun, it’s sometimes homerically funny. Such an individually original character, both in anime and in any manga, is difficult to find.
You get used to the drawing of the title quickly, but you do not leave the feeling that there is a budget crisis, because it is not possible to do without a hack in the form of “pictures with a pencil on a sheet of A4”. In the second season, there is a change of studio, but the project, apparently, does not add money. Only at the end of the series, the creators are significantly invested in the drawing of fighting scenes.
So, season two. The fact that "Wanpunchman" word for word quotes manga, but then questions to it. But no one prevented the creators from being creative in their decisions. Whatever it was, but in the second season it will be possible to count the appearances in the frame of Saitama on fingers, suddenly the main character is pushed to the background, and the plot focuses on the boring guild of heroes, which consists of faded and unforgettable personalities, deciding questions of saving the world. The humor of the sample of the first season is not, catchy arches too. And it turns out that you look like one long and optional filler. Shame. That's a big drawback.
To sum it up, “One Punch Man” is a cool first season with Saitama, his cyborg apprentice Genos, as well as a colorful background in the form of, for example, the Rightsless Rider, the Justice Cyclist Satoru (and now you want to laugh when you think about it). “Wanpunchman” is a great anime, which was destroyed by the creators themselves. There is no hope for a third season, even if it happens.
A lot of things are beyond my comprehension. But even as an otaku, I'm speechless when I'm faced with this kind of work. Anime itself is prone to hyperbole and grotesque.
There is also a grotesque on the grotesque, ' parody of a parody'.
If it's been 10 years since there is 'Jo-jo reference', then a little more, and there will be OPM-reference. There is little left, and the degree of absurdity will clearly surpass the notorious Jo-Jo.
No complaints about the plot. Where do they come from? The genre itself does not imply a special depth of plot research. Well, the motivation, well, the twist. I'm fine. That's not what we're looking at, is it?
The main character, however, deserves a much closer look. He's a very deep character. Yeah, and I think that's just a great achievement.
What does a superhuman do in his free time? Going to the store, watching TV, picking his nose ... and some more activity in ' shack for a lonely Indian' (sapienti sat, S01E03, magazines, napkins ... Nuf said. He expects his life to be meaningful or at least interesting. After all, the human CNS is not designed for such overloads and its activity was lifted up by tolerance for adrenaline and other hormones to heaven. So he waits for a good fight to finally feel alive. And it's deep. That’s very good, I don’t remember anyone touching on the inadequacy of everyday superheroes.
The opponents deserve a special mention. And what else does a superhero need, but not a worthy and, most importantly, memorable opponent for the viewer? ' I have them...' As accurately as possible, the approach to creating antagonists is described by the following quote: ' It seemed that this creature descended from the picture of a cartoonist who got drunk to a fever' (c) K. Saymak '...and fell dead'. Nah, what is it? What game?
The only thing that bothered me was the so-called 'GORE'. I can understand blood. But pulling the intestine through the eye is too much. It's 21+, we all know that. I just don’t accept unwarranted sadism. It's useless.
But on the other hand, it's just a repulsed grotesque parody. Therefore, it is difficult to apply generally accepted criteria. But I would not recommend it - very much ' product for an amateur'.
Don't believe the prophecies. You've been too strong... Saitama. (c)
Welcome to the world of heroes and monsters. In the center of the series, a hero named Saitama, he has developed such a crazy force that he defeats absolutely any opponent with one blow. The main theme is without exaggeration philosophical, we are shown what can happen when a person achieves absolute perfection in his field, when it is no longer possible to develop and move forward. Saitama’s problem is that he has lost his taste for life, and if he used to be possessed by overpowering, tension and ecstasy during battle, he has now forgotten these feelings. He began to feel less and less emotions, and as he himself says, “Did I begin to forget what it means to be human?”
Genos is his disciple. A handsome cyborg who respects Saitama madly and, living with him, dreams of gaining his power. It’s amazing how organic the duo look together and how cool they complement each other, despite their many differences.
If the first season was already very pleased with its versatility and elaboration in terms of revealing the main characters, their motivation and life path, then the second season just beats it in the air. We get to know all the heroes much better. Their stories are fascinating, one superior to the other, and most importantly, the creators did not cut down on the exciting action, which, as a rule, reveals the characters even more. Each of them has its own unique ability and strength that sets it apart from the rest. Due to this, they are all incredibly colorful and attractive, it is simply impossible to forget them. Every fighter against evil has his rank and the higher he is, the greater the universal honor. Monsters are slightly similarly divided into different levels of danger.
Due to all this elaboration, a clear holistic understanding of the world of this anime is created. When we see a scene of a reportage on TV, hear a secondary dialogue about the characters or some background, seemingly formal detail, we know what it is about, we know who it is about, and to feel this awareness is very great. I want to say that this is done in the best traditions of Tarantino. In addition, the series is filled with little things that you notice only when watching again, humor and satire also occupy not the last place in Wanpunchman.
It should be added that the anime is full of action to the maximum. And most importantly, they never get bored, because behind any action scene is history and meaning. And such a qualitative fusion of action with the plot, that is, a smooth flow from one to another - you will not often meet.
In the first season, everything happens according to the standard canon, where evil and good are shown from the classical traditional side, but the second season breaks this pattern and tells the viewer that often in our world everything is not so simple. And to show that, a new hero named Garou comes to the fore, with whom I fell in love. From an early age, he did not understand why monsters are so hated and always root only for pathetic heroes, because their opponents are often no less powerful, interesting and cool. Throughout the season, we are shown fragments of the childhood of the future hunter not heroes, when even then doubts arose in him about the justice of the entire existing system:
The fact that the popular always wins, and the one whom no one likes to lose is a tragedy.
And sometimes even heroes unite and overcome the mighty alone in an unfair battle. In addition, do not forget that often monsters have their own motivation and goals.
Demon Crab just wanted to protect the beautiful ocean, and for it he fought alone against three heroes! If he had won a little harder! It was an insult to him.
As one might expect, such awareness and a heightened sense of justice result in misunderstanding and aggression on the part of a society that has suppressed it from an early age. I would like to note just the chic final battle Garow with a crowd of heroes. The fight is built so competently and thought out that at the entrance of the battle we clearly see strong emotions, all the accumulated pain and resentment of Garow. We see all the passions, all the bouquet of feelings that he feels. Bravo!
The anime is painted very colorfully, the battles are also incredibly beautiful and spectacular. And what came as a surprise to me is the opinion of pseudo-experts of animation, who squeamishly claim that the series is gray, the drawing is almost below average and put it on a low score because of this. I hate to swear, but you guys are too limited to realize how valuable a pearl has fallen into your hands. Therefore, I wish you one thing: delete your channels, posts about the series and go watch a heroic slag like the Avengers, where there is nothing but a picture.
The soundtrack in the series is simply unparalleled. Each composition fits incredibly harmoniously into what is happening, emphasizes all the tension in the action or a dramatic touching moment. Separately, I want to mention the scene and music after Saitama’s final fight with Boros. Revisited a bunch of times, just incredible epicity and power.
Without any exaggeration, One Punch Man is a real diamond in the world of cinema, which you want to watch again and again. Colorful, extraordinary, deep and simply fantastic in absolutely everything, starting with drawing, ending with the soundtrack. The main characters are so gorgeous and alive that by the end of the series you feel a real kinship with them and really care for them. When watching, the boundaries between our world and the world of this wonderful anime are erased, and this is expensive.
Saitama has attained a superhuman strength, through which he is able to defeat any enemy with one blow. There are a lot of enemies in this world, attacks on civilians by all kinds of monsters have become commonplace. Even the classification of such attacks was introduced: Tiger - when a threat to a large number of people, Devil - a threat to the whole city, Dragon - a threat to several cities, Divine - a threat to all mankind. But there were brave men ready to fight back against evil. Heroes united in the Association of Heroes and stood up for this world. The higher your strength, the higher your rank in the association, which means that you will have more fame and fans. In total, there are 4 ranks - C, B, A, S, and in the highest rank S there are only 17 heroes.
Graphics in this anime was engaged in by the well-known studio Madhouse, drawing anime until the very end is kept at a decent height. The drawing in the anime is very rich, bright and literally oozes into the eyes of the viewer. Very fresh. The contours of characters and liveliness are very clear and often go into a hatched, pencil style (similar to the one used in the manga, and the vivid representatives of which are “Gurren” or “Kill la Kill”). As for the detail, it is also very good, especially when it comes to fighting between heroes and villains. The backgrounds are made very qualitatively, there are no disputes to them. As they say, you can watch forever. Separately, it is worth noting the work with reflections and brilliance - very naturalistic, while combining this case with a very simple drawing of characters, which, as a rule, depicts them as comic.
Excellent opening! The beginning is brutal, winding, reflecting, as it seemed to me, the character of Saitama in battles with really strong opponents. Heavy riffs of true heavy metal are perfectly tuned to a positive charge, which soon warms up colorful Japanese motifs. I’m sure I won’t be wrong when I call it the best in years.
In addition to humor, which is abundant here, One Punch Man touches on serious issues. First of all, it is a question of justice and self-sacrifice. Is it fair that Saitama performs deeds, and the glory for them goes to others? Few people know how powerful he is and how much he does to save humanity. Saitama is sometimes accused of destroying the city he just saved. But what pleasure do you get when scoundrels and slanders get what they deserve? There is nothing more enjoyable than watching justice be restored. Why do you think the anime introduced a character like the Unlicensed Rider I mentioned earlier? It seems to be absolutely useless, and not a hero at all, but he often appears in the hottest points of battles. Then he first gets in the way of terrorists, then detains the sea king until the arrival of Saitama, then saves civilians after the destruction of the city. He does not do anything special, but he is always useful, and everyone loves him. A cyclist demonstrates that anyone can become a hero if they want to. Sometimes removing a cat from a tree can be called a feat. In general, not only humor One Punch Man is valuable.
What can I say about One Punch Man I will say so, sometimes very funny, sometimes very serious, this anime will be at the top of the ratings for a long time. Watching this title brought me a huge number of positive emotions, so the popularity of this anime is well deserved. I would definitely recommend it if you haven’t already!
This animated series is a set of almost unrelated episodes, the plot of which is a primitive template sketch about a supervillain who necessarily flies away at the end of the series (and this is not “Supernatural” from the world of the anime).
Such a description does not necessarily mean something bad. It just has to be taken for granted because the first few episodes were really interesting, funny and very beautiful. They were filled with pleasant satire, a curious plot and from that pleasing action. Yes, at first, the viewer does not know that in the second half of the season he is waiting for a looped meaningless and uninteresting meat grinder with some left-wing characters who suddenly displaced the main character and took 90% of screen time.
Seriously, at some point in the middle of the season, there won’t be a tiny bit of meaning, logic or even interesting moments in the series. The events will be observed not interesting and funny, but boring and... Shame on you! Moreover, it is shameful not because of the sharp deterioration in the quality of jokes (although they have really deteriorated sharply), but because of the fact that the beautiful idea and the beginning of the series are merged so bland and incompetent. What's going on is decidedly unclear. The most obvious explanation is that the script ended in the fifth episode, and it was decided to improvise, as bequeathed by one eminent director.
In general, after viewing remains a negative impression, although this is not the worst anime that you could watch. At least it's pretty short. By the way, watching the second season after such a first, I do not see the slightest sense.
Let's start with the character. He's great. Having great strength, he cannot find a worthy opponent and defeats everyone with one blow. It describes his everyday life. For him, heroism is routine. He is much more concerned about domestic problems.
Also here perfectly ridicule various stamps and cliches. The humor is very good.
I also liked the Heroes Association. A lot of them are funny. Some are arrogant.
In my memory, this is the first parody anime. It's original.
Well drawn fights. The drawing itself is also good.
When choosing a new movie or series, you often watch a trailer or screenshot of the work. When I first saw the main character - Saitama, I did not even want to watch this series. Bald guy with big white eyes dressed in a yellow jumpsuit. It seems that this is a certain ' Japanese Bart' (The Simpsons). But in reality it was different.
First of all, I want to note that the series immediately delays. After watching the first series, it is impossible to stop. An interesting plot, unpredictable behavior of the characters and incredible humor make you watch all 12 episodes. Plus, the whole anime is painted very beautifully. In dynamic scenes ' picture ' amazing. The creators clearly did not look for easy ways!
The main character Saitama does not seek fame. He's not particularly emotional at all. He trained a lot and destroys any opponent with one blow. Superpower monsters do not surprise him, the main thing is not to miss the sale in the supermarket. It seems that nothing can surprise him anymore. However, the world around him does not stand still and he has to go through different situations. It is very interesting to see how he behaves in different situations.
World ' Vanpanman' turned on monsters, heroes and of course battles. With each series of characters becomes more and more. Fights are all exciting. Is there anyone who can withstand at least one blow?
'Wanpunchman' suitable for viewing and those who have never watched the anime. This work will be understandable to any viewer. Therefore, I recommend for viewing to all who are looking for quality 'Cinema'!
Okay. I'm running. There is a sale in the supermarket.
What makes Wanpunchman a great animated work? Yes, perhaps all it takes: a great script, drawing, music and humor with self-irony. And also the original idea of a character who just won't win. From the word at all.
This is the reason why even not too big anime fans (like me) are so impressed. Very rare nowadays is a combination of originality and quality.
Many people mistakenly write that “Wanpunchman” is a parody of superheroics. Of course not. Suffice it to look at the respect with which the main character Saitama (and therefore the authors of the work) refers to the heroes, albeit in a sweep not suitable for him in terms of strength. There is irony, there is humor and teasing, but there is not that rude grotesque that is inherent in parody. "Wanpunchman" is also a superhero, but, so to speak, an adult. When you already understand that although evil is ineradicable, you still need to fight it. We also need to sell cheap chicken.
As for the meanings inherent in this work, there are many of them and it makes no sense to list everything. Many 20-minute series have more questions and answers than 3-hour “serious” movies. What is the true power of man? Who are the heroes? What's worth fighting for? Is it worth working? Etc.
It is for this reason that everyone will find something they like in Wanpunchman. And at the same time, this is a completely organic work, and not a prefabricated hodgepodge, which indicates the good work of both the creators of the manga and the writers who adapted it.
So sit in your favorite chair, or lie down on the sofa, bed and whatever else you have, turn on the Wanpunchman and have fun.

Children aspire to become adults, teenagers want to finish school as soon as possible in order to enter a prestigious university, study there, and then find a good job with a high salary. Finding a purpose in life is the most important part of life itself. In the sea of bullying superheroes, ridiculing all sorts of Hollywood clichés, one cannot help but notice the simple truth that “Wanpunchman” carries an important, albeit naively presented message: Saitama is a fictional character, but everyone will find a piece of himself in it. Together with a persistent hero, the viewer will reflect on the sentence: “What do I really need from my earthly existence?”, and in addition, plenty of laughs, because in the film adaptation of the manga of the “unnamed” author of humorous material in bulk: from subtle jokes to frank parody of the most famous American superheroes, and the characters of their notorious shōnans.
The anime takes place in a futuristic universe where robotics, genetic engineering and construction are almost perfect, but there are constant crimes, eh, if the intruders were ordinary robbers, but no, it’s getting harder. Criminals are monsters and their goal is to take over the planet. When another alien creature (and sometimes an Earth creature) begins to sow bacchanalia in one of the cities named after one of the letters of the English alphabet, Saitama decides that it’s time to do a little feats. Against the background of debris, flames, dust and destruction, the hero, who in the future will be called Bald Cloak, blows his opponent from the second, no, from the first blow, which means that the next capco-casting antagonist is defeated. Does that make Saitam happy? Of course not. After all, the protagonist has an important law: “Find a worthy opponent.” Since Saitama is almost the strongest person in the world, he lives painfully boring, but watching such a character is very interesting, which is a little paradoxical, given the superhuman abilities of Wanpunchman.
The screen adaptation of the web manga of the artist ONE is famous not only for the Bald Cloak, but also for other characters, each of whom is individual, because the association of heroes created to protect humanity (well, what about without notes of pathos?), opened its doors to a variety of people and aliens who want to save Mother Earth. Only the cyborg Genos is worth what, which is a good example of responsibility and justice, while Saitama, because of his infantilism, can not always realize the degree of destruction that can follow after a battle with another supostate, and the undoubted plus that Genos and Saitama are partners. Throughout the narrative, other superheroes flash, ready both to help Wanpunchman and Genos, as well as to resist them, and there are ambiguous ones, to warm up even more curiosity.
“Wanpunchman” is not without all sorts of plot flaws, but they pale in front of beautiful drawing, dynamic battles, humor, which is just great here, so the series is a holistic, interesting spectacle that can present many more surprises, since the web comic is still being written, and the second season of the anime is announced. Wait for surprises from the studio Madhouse.
I have to admit that I am not a fan of anime, and vice versa, a fierce hater of it. Of all the diversity of existing paintings, really powerful plot hooked only four: Pokémon, Shaman King, Samurai X and very ancient Tank police. But the first two are designed for children, and the second for adolescents, and an adult to discover them for themselves is not too interesting because of their naivety.
The rest are boring, stupid and monotonous, both in animation and in plot: there is even a special term “oyash” – an ordinary Japanese schoolboy – so often this is the central character of the story.
Vanpachman is a parody of anime. And, I must say, not only on anime, but also on many superhero cartoons.
Parodies are rarely interesting, and even more so able to compete with the original to some extent. The only example that is remembered is the Goblin translation of The Lord of the Rings. But he uses the original picture, and here his - everything.
This movie is great in literally everything. He has his own beautiful, especially frostbitten, animation that creates the necessary surroundings. The plot is really new, because no one in the almost century-long history of diverse heroes thought to tell about the life of a character who is so cool that during a fight he thinks about selling in a store, not about how to defeat an opponent. There is fantastic humor, ridiculing all the cliches and cliches that the sophisticated viewer will surely recognize. Even the initial and final soundtracks are beyond praise.
Perhaps the only drawback of the series is that the series is very short and very few. The series should be ten hours, and the series themselves should be a thousand and a half, no less.
Delight, applause and dreams of continuation.
And it happens to you: you start watching a new anime series and from the first minutes you fall in love with the main character, considering him an ideal? However, with the advent of understanding its unreality immediately becomes a little sad and hurtful. There is still hope for an alternative universe. .
'Wanpunchman' from the first minute became a favorite series and has already entered my list of often revised. The series is unobtrusive plot, seems simple enough and just relaxing, but can be a good basis for reflection. Animeshka with humor about superheroes who seem to want fame, but at great danger think only of themselves, and Saitama, unlike anyone around, either externally (excluding the bald gang), or internally. Saitama, despite its stupid appearance, attracts with its simplicity, purposefulness and frisky attitude to many things. Superhero for him is just a hobby, maybe that’s why he is perfectly able to help out the others?

“I’m just an ordinary guy who plays a normal hero.”
I already without any doubt believe that the works of the studio Madhouse has already managed to completely entrenched in my list of must-see. There is no other way to explain why Wanpunchman is my fourth or fifth consecutive anime from the studio. The guys make really high-quality pictures and implement extremely memorable things in them. Of course, there are also completely ambiguous projects, which, it seems, are not very bad, but at the same time you simply cannot evaluate them too high, this applies to the same “School of the Dead”, although there was a complete order with the action there. But in "The Crying Devil" even screwed up with him. But in "Wanpunchman" with the specified complete order and even more.
The plot of “Wanpunchman” will introduce us to an unusual universe where superheroes and villains are quite familiar to all individuals. No one is surprised by the appearance of another type in tights and a cloak. So on the main character of the anime - Saitamu, too, no one ever pays attention. Well, except for the most powerful supervillains of the galaxy, in which Saitama appears weekly on the way and takes one blow. And it is far from his strongest blow. And the trouble is that Saitama dreams of fame on the same level with more popular heroes, but alas, he is popular only with his own student - cyborg Genos.
Madhouse can do just crazy things and "Wanpunchman" once again proves this. But here you probably need to pay tribute to the authors of the manga, who managed to come up with at least some story about a guy that kills anyone, absolutely any boss. Almost always it looks very funny and exciting. Only some arrogant type begins to carry an incredible number of pathetic speeches, as Saitama stops the whole stream of sayings at one stroke, and sends a supostate to the next world. But even with all this, the creators were able to come up with a rather inventive action. This was achieved not only at the expense of one character, but also a heap of other, no less funny characters. After all, the superhero theme in "Wanpunchman stalks just in full program. Do you like a cyclist or a gay hero? There's a whole bunch of funny ones here. I’m not talking about the villains, which in this anime even more and in each series will climb at least three of the coolest of them. But Saitama solves everything without any problems.
Meanwhile, “Wanpunchman” has an extremely uncomplicated plot and there is a sense that in some episodes the series sags a little. Although probably in the case of this anime, this should not be attributed to too significant disadvantages. Since they are easily bathed in a very expressive, non-stop action, well, quite good humor, as well as a total banter over the subject. "Wanpunchman" is ideal for those who just want to relax and laugh enough at the funny situations that arise here with enviable consistency. A second season is necessary.
Are you tired of the main characters? You can't stand the old-fashioned dialogue before the battle begins? Do you not like the bravado and self-confidence of the characters? Then, my dear, Wanpunchman will appeal to you.
Our protagonist Saitama leads the life of a loser. A simple 22-year-old boy, returning home after a failed interview, meets a monster on his way. As a result, he remembers that he always wanted to be a hero. And after 3 years of training, he becomes so strong (and bald) that he is able to withstand any monster in one blow.
The impossibility of finding a rival equal in strength causes G. some frustration. I would even say that, in a sense, it is loneliness. G. G. understands that evil has always been and will always be, and his heroism does not affect society in any way. One day he learns that there is a certain Association of Heroes (hereinafter AG). After not quite successful exams, he is accepted into it.
It should be noted that Saitama is the strongest in A.G. But what is it? Why is it that the highest rank is so low? For example, there are 4 ranks, starting from the lowest and ending with the highest - C, B, A, S. Why is the strongest has the rank C?? To understand this, look at the heroes of the highest rank.
Heroes of the highest rank are very self-conceited, their important features are bluster, bravado, a bright memorable image and disrespect for lower-level heroes. They do not participate in events that have little impact on society. Yes, their actions are not aimed at committing noble deeds. Their actions are aimed at gaining prestige and status through heroism. Their distinctive features, bravado, bluster, bright appearance, memorable names, cute appearance, loud speeches - all this is necessary to work with the audience. And that’s why they are high-class heroes. If you are not advertising your heroism, then you are not a hero at all.
Saitama, despite his abilities and heroism, always remains behind the scenes. No one sees his heroism and no one knows that he is a hero. Yeah, he doesn't like the stupid conversations that advertise his power. He just takes it and does it. And he's not heroic to raise his reputation and not to get approval. That is why he is not a hero of the highest level. Saitama in this is similar to many ordinary people who perform unnoticed feats. Even when Saitama performs a heroic act in front of the public, the public does not recognize its power. Such cognitive dissonance. Does a lower-level hero do something worthy of the best? I can't believe it! He's using some tricks that are dishonest! That's what society thinks of our G. The envy of some heroes from A.G. also does not make his fate any easier.
But on the other hand, what is a hero? Is it possible to call a man who sacrifices nothing and fears nothing a hero? That's what Saitama is. One punch and a case in the hat! Is that what heroism is?
Is a hero a hero if society doesn’t know? Is it worth being a hero or is it worth doing something worthy of a hero? Who is considered a hero after all? If you are interested in such questions, I recommend watching.
A strange anime, which at first you do not want to watch, because of its concept.
What is this? A hero who can kill everyone, without exception, with just one blow... well, who would be interested in watching such a thing.
But from the very beginning to the very end, anime does not let go. I watched it in a volley and repeated it a couple of times throughout the year.
The whole anime, in itself, is a mockery of all brutal phrases, actions from movies/anime/series.
The main character Saitama was a simple man who was looking for a job. But a monster has appeared in the city (which is common in this universe), and by a certain coincidence Saitama, a man without any outstanding abilities defeats this monster trying to protect the boy. So comes the turning point in his life, he decides to become a superhero.
After a year and a half of intense, exhausting training, the hero balds and gains super strength (he became very fast, very strong and not penetrating for all attacks). How did he do that? Yes, everything is simple, you need to run 10 kilometers every day, push up and squat 100 times, live without air conditioning and be sure to eat one banana a day. It seems ridiculous that in this way he received superpower, but on the other hand, you feel some propaganda of a healthy lifestyle. The younger generation of Japan will see such heroes, and they will just do good deeds and play sports every day. In this case, Japan will become a superpower.
Saitama looks funny and comic with his yellow rubber suit and baldness, takes almost nothing seriously, for a long time he lost interest in battle, as all his enemies can fall with one blow. But in each of his life appears Genos.
Genos. A cyborg guy who can be called a real example of a superhero. Almost his whole body is robotized, he looks brutal, thinks like a hero, talks like a hero, acts like a hero, well, just a fairy tale. And in the first series, almost dies at the hands of one villain. But next to Saitama and a slight movement of the palm kills the villain, after which Genos asks to become a disciple to our main character, which is also amusing. Almost immediately, Saitama reveals his secret of superpower, and he has nothing to teach Genos, so sometimes he feeds him phrases from the manga and fictional farewells.
The graphics in the anime are beautiful, although our main character can kill everything and everything with one blow, battles are present in each series and they are done well, it is interesting to watch each one, although most often these are battles of other characters.
The soundtrack is also above all praise. The soundtrack beckons to start singing along. And for each situation, the music is suitable, which draws you more into the series. During the battle, you want to start waving your hands, and in a sad moment you can empathize. In general, the soundtrack will not leave indifferent.
So what is the point of viewing this anime if the main character can kill everyone without straining. Meaning in everything, graphics, music, jokes, drive well and ultimately still intrigue. With each new supervillain, it seems that it is he who will be able to oppose Saitama, but this was not the case. And this intrigue, one of the many things that do not let go of the screen.
In general, I advise everyone to watch, and those who like it, also read the manga.

Since the plot is still too simple, which does not prevent the anime from being scratchy.
I’m not a big fan of anime style, so for a long time I couldn’t get together and watch Wanpunchman. But when all the same decided the whole first season flew literally in a couple of evenings. Probably a significant role in this was played by the fact that the cartoon came out at an ideal time for its story.
Now in the heyday of superheroics in all manifestations of art, it has already begun to really tire and many serious blockbusters look more like inertia. Therefore, the work mocking every tired stamp of the genre went to the public just perfectly. This is a peculiar, and very funny by the way, deconstruction of the foundations of the whole genre.
At the same time, many elements look interesting at once, which in a more serious work would look alien. It would seem impossible to build a plot around a hero capable of killing any opponents with one blow, people do not like to worry about those who cannot be harmed. And the association of superheroes with mandatory membership and ranking system looks too crazy.
When it comes to characters, everything takes on an incredible scale. All the clichés and cliches merged together giving rise to countless hosts of heroes. Monsters, on the other hand, look like they came down from an unwritten surreal canvas. And each of the characters has its own character, and you really quickly remember them, even episodic ones.
The Wanpunchman is far from perfect, but it is one of the most original and funny works of recent years.

For a long time in the Japanese media feed there were no standing anime, on the theme "I am a superhero!". The main genre of this anime is a parody, a kind of banter on superheroes. The hero of our manga is a 25-year-old boy named Saitama. You can talk about this character forever, this character is an ardent example of humanity and a real hero, he is not indifferent to the fate of other people and the most important thing he so fiercely wants is to help people and engage in exploits. Hero of the Year. Like all Saitama heroes, he wants to be recognized on the streets and know who the real hero is. In the series, as well as in the manga, the character of the hero is very well revealed, Saitama does not like excessive pathos (often it comes from his rivals), he will never let himself be insulted or humiliated, very charismatic, there is no such bravado and desire to prove something or show himself. Saitama is impatient, he does not like when someone simply threshes his tongue or shouts out tricks (for this more than once he received bream).
If someone is offended or something happens, he will certainly come to the rescue, albeit with a slight delay. I would call him the prototype of a true hero. He wields unabated power, Superman, the Hulk and The Flash rest next to him. No one knows where he will get so much cosmic power, but he cites his mega-hard training.
Training is as follows: push-ups - 100 times, press - 100 times, squats - 100 times, running - 10 km. It is necessary to observe this regime every day. Of course, this regime can be observed, but you should not expect that it will give such a result.
The second most interesting character is Genos. After Saitama saved his life, he swore allegiance to him. Genos has a keen sense of justice, just like his teacher, he tries to help everyone, although he is a cyborg, but he is able to experience feelings and recognize them. Genos is a very stubborn personality, he always goes to the end, trying to stop the threat even in his valuable life. Personal qualities of this character at the height, art design is also very good, the creators did a good job. Although the characters with the same characteristics are full, but it is pleasant to look at. True, he has a couple of minuses (inflated self-esteem and unprecedented idiocy in some episodes).
Another character I would like to mention is the Unlicensed Driver. Although he is given 1/3 of screen time, but his character is very well remembered. He is not a superhero at all, he does not have the power of Saitama and Genos, he is a simple person, but he has a very keen sense of justice. For this character you really worry, he has a very passionate desire to help others, to be somehow useful. He is ready to sacrifice himself for the good of ordinary people, even knowing that he will lose and may die.
In this anime, there are still a lot of interesting characters such as Tornado, Homo-Gom Zec, Sweet Mask, Atomic Samurai, Supersound Sonic, etc.
A little bit about adapting this manga. At the time of the anime release, about 56 entire chapters were written, this is 11 volumes. The manga was filmed in half, up to the scene with Boros, a quite good place to stop. What else can be said about adaptation? Very good! After all, everything that made sense to be was filmed, some new scenes were also added (which dialogue Saitama with the King of Beasts, an episode in the diner, when Saitama and Genos were approached by “Sweet Mask”)
A little about graphics and drawing. Graphics in this anime was engaged in the famous studio Madhouse. This studio is one of the best in terms of animation. But to say that they managed to perfectly animate "Wanpunchman" I will not. It could have been much better. But the anime is kept at the level, the drawings are rich, bright. The contours of the characters, the strokes are very clearly visible, not a bad pencil style. But there were drawbacks, in some places there was no finishing. As for the scene of staging fights and fights, they seem very naturalistic. Detailing is very good, the same designs of heroes and backgrounds of buildings are drawn very organically.
If you sum up all the above described by me, then we can safely conclude that "Vanpachman" is very good for rest. If you are tired of all these dramas, detectives and psychological thrillers, if you love Japanese culture and good manga, then you should watch this anime.

A strong blow from the fist is his super strength!
What are your associations with the word superhero? Someone may remember the popular Avengers team today, someone is just a superhero of his childhood, like me, a beloved spider man. Others believe that this is the hero of the classic Superman, or Batman. But anyway, and it is no secret that these super-people firmly and thoroughly laid in our minds such a word as "super-power", and simply entered our world from all possible angles. Every year we see something with these guys. For example, this year we are waiting for a superhero shooting. Just a ton of movies about them, and about comics and games and nothing to say, their ton. And of course, how not to do without superheroes in the anime genre? And so in 2015, this very anime came to my eyes, which did not even think of translating and navali just “Wanpunchman”, ya... Translated as, "Man one hit", well, or hit one person, in general, say as you are comfortable, it is not the essence. But I’m still worried about how much the distributors treated the title, that’s honest I barely found this anime. It’s a movie search and through Google. However, I have watched this series and now I am ready to share my opinion with you.
Very good. The first season flew just in one breath, of course it is still worth considering that I love this genre. And then there's the superhero. In short, two in one, who loves anime and loves the theme of heroes, watch as a must. But even without this anime is a great, parody on the superhero theme anime series. In which there is one special plus, and this is the main character Saitama. I'll tell you, he's probably the calmest and most powerful superhero in the world. Who are the Avengers? Who wants this Superman? What's left of Spider-Man if there's Saitama? A guy who just kills with one punch, with one fucking fist. He's just invincible, and that makes him bored. There is no happiness and the whole meaning of life is lost. You see, in this case, his power is his curse, his problem. He could and would like to arrange a cool fight, where you can wave your arms and legs to the fullest, but alas, he just kills with one blow. No matter how strong or big his villain is, he will just talk to him a little, and then just soak with one blow.
You know, it's in this Saitama problem that we can see the banter and all kinds of ridicule of superheroes. You probably could notice how cool the characters on the screen seem to us, take the same Superman, and the scene of the fight with Zod, well, they destroy the whole city, they break through huge high-rises, they blow each other up, but your mother, not a single scratch. Why would they fight at all, if there is no damage to each other, well, you get the point. And just in the anime "Wanpunchman", we can see just a clear hint of the various cliches, cliches and implausibility in films about superheroes. And it looks very cool, but there is a minus to it. You know, just like Superman, you don't care about Saitama, you know it's gonna be okay, no matter what the enemy is, he's gonna defeat him. And even sometimes you absolutely do not care about this character, and completely lose interest in him. But he's not alone. And there is a whole alliance of heroes who have their weaknesses, so there is someone to worry about. Cyborg, a student of Saitama, is a pretty cool character who, for certain reasons, has neither arms nor legs. He's like RoboCop and Terminator combined, he's very cool, but Saitama still gets all the sympathy. Their interaction is quite funny, also ridiculing the clichés of all superheroes. And what, only people and monsters have not met Saitama, you will be just bewildered when in one series you will be shown five or even more bloodthirsty monsters. Sometimes you think, “Are they being stamped?” But at a certain point you realize that this is still the same skillful banter in which you can see all the attributes of the current villains. They're still dumb and stupid. They don't know what they are doing. They simply have no motivation. And all this is done perfectly, I tell you.
The fights are amazing. Beautiful, bloody and with his raisins, Saitama bears one blow, but you can see how he masterfully does it, and with a certain light. By the way, I forgot to say, he is very charismatic, he has his own character. He is simply original, and in all directions unique hero. Finally, we were given something really cool. Honestly, Naruto is getting a little sick (but I love it anyway). With each series there is a development, new characters appear, which along the way we are revealed, for example, what is only the hero Careless rider, which seems to be just furniture in the frame, but no, it is much more useful than some. In general, I all mean that there is some stability in this series, but at the same time there is originality. Saitama does not always stand in a static position, but always surprises. But again, he's not scary at all, and there's no empathy. And before I forget, here, as befits a good anime, there is a cool opera, with no less cool song. The music here is really cool.
"Wanpunchman" is a beautiful anime with all sorts of banter, humor and ridicule of all the superhero cliches and clichés. Who has a man in the center who kills with just one punch. Funny, interesting, funny, dynamic and in all manifestations cool anime, which will undoubtedly appeal to many. Original and one of a kind. He looks on one breath, has a certain amount of blood, cruelty. But I recommend watching all, except for fierce opponents of anime is forbidden. But if you like superhero themes, why not?
Saitama is an amateur superhero. Once upon a time, he was tired of loitering for interviews and sitting behind an office desk and, having tried himself in the matter of saving the innocent, the guy began to train to change his profession: it seemed to him that it would be fun to fight regularly attacking the cities of this world. Since then, three years have passed, and the new hero has one small problem: he became too strong.
Over the years that Saitama spent in training, there was a burst of superheroes of various calibers around, who formed a whole association: from losers dressed in stylish costumes “from mom” without special abilities, sitting in the lowest hero class, and to comrades who can grind a skyscraper into powder in a second or two. At the beginning of the story, the protagonist is not a member of this guild, he is somewhere on the side. While others spend hours in pathetic dialogue with villains and defeat them almost at the cost of their lives, Saitama usually just comes, kills the enemy with one punch and goes home to watch TV shows.
He is already starting to go mad from boredom when he meets the incredibly epic young cyborg Genos, who, seeing the power of the main character, asks for his students, after which they both join the association of heroes. The subsequent narrative revolves around jokes in contrast to the usual superhero pathos and the almost complete pofigism of Saitama with his absolutely disproportionate force to his associates.
Characters
Saitama is exactly the way an overly cool superhero from a parody anime should be. He began to save people because ordinary office life lacked meaning and adrenaline, but nature played a cruel joke, and when he started training, he very quickly became stronger than any of his opponents. The character lives on the hope and expectation that someday there will be an opponent capable of giving him a normal fight, and saves people more by inertia than for pleasure. Although the opportunity to have your own funk club and get money for heroic deeds, it also motivates a little.
Saitama's student Genos is the exact opposite of the protagonist. His story, I won’t fear the word, is a painfully long template, and when he tells it, even Saitama asks to be cut to twenty words. In short, the enemies burned his native house, he could not do anything, put himself under cybernetic experiments, and now looking for the killer of his family, along the way destroying various monsters. Genos is a little freaked out by the power of the main character, and wants to learn from him how to become as cool, but it turns out that he is not particularly.
Villains and heroes. The other heroic company and the villains opposing them, chuckles, are assembled from a thousand different stereotypes. The immune system of the planet, crazy scientists, inhabiting the underground layers of the Earth ancient races are villains literally the first series. Superheroes are all with unusual abilities and shout pretentious speeches about justice and the struggle for good or frown and silently overcome everything, villains destroy entire cities and violently act... And then Saitama comes along and turns everything into a farce. Or mince.
Impressions
Rarely, very rarely comes across something based on an original idea that has never been stumbled upon before. Built brilliantly: with masterfully written characters, a beautiful and detailed picture, an excellent soundtrack and humor. "Wanpunchman" is exactly the case.
This anime is a parody of superheroes, and it's going to be most interesting to anyone who's watched a bunch of movies about them, reads comics, or follows shōnen. The rest, perhaps, will not quite appreciate the phantasmogoric delusions of the plot and the emotional torment of the main character, who with one blow can destroy any threat he has stumbled upon before, and the attempts of his student to become the same cool.
The humor here, fortunately, is excellent, or at least I like. A lot of funny moments follow from Saitama’s interference in some hyper-pathetic showdown. Short gags aren't bad either. To dilute the narrative a little, the anime sometimes gives us a kind of drama, which usually turns into a joke after a minute.
Visually, the anime looks just fine: just look at the footage from it or at the opening. The animation of fights is excellent, the backs are detailed, the animated conversations were also not skimpy. Music, including opening and ending - very useful.
Conclusions
Initially, I wanted to give “Wanpunchman” an excellent rating, but during the review I realized that I had absolutely nothing to complain about. Excellent parody: funny, with interesting characters, high-quality drawing and voice acting. If you want to watch the banter over the superhero genre, then perhaps this is the best I can recommend.
A masterpiece, look.
Anime and superpower. Superpower and anime. These two concepts cannot exist without each other. Yes, in each not even the second, but almost the first anime series, the main character suddenly discovers abilities that radically change his lifestyle or do not change, but his strength still remains. Even if the characters do not throw fireballs, they have a completely developed intelligence or are the successors of the famous Rambo ... extremely rarely do without it. So the film adaptation of the manga Murata YusukeOne-Punch Man follows the trend.
Wanpunchman's world is very interesting. Officially, there is an association of heroes on Earth, which everyone can join. Of course, one desire can not guarantee anything, the local equivalent of the Justice League carefully selects candidates. You need to go through a kind of tests, the successful passage of which will bring a beginner to one of the classes (C, B, A, S). Classes are very different from each other in ability and strength, the achievement of the first lines of the rating can only be guaranteed by feats. The feats of the level of Hercules are appreciated and will definitely serve as a significant career rise, while minor achievements on the streets of cities can only slightly raise the hero by one or two points. But there is one amateur hero who is out of the system.
His name is Saitama, but the nickname “One Strike” suits him much more! He started training a few years ago because he wanted to be a great hero. He did not know about association and achieved much on his own. Saitama gained strength, the Force, which became his burden over time. It got too boring. Every battle ends with one, only one! No matter how strong the opponent was, no matter what techniques he shouted, everything was absolutely useless. But then Saitama learned about the association. Of course he wanted to join her. It is a pity that the mental abilities of our protagonist have just turned out to be very mediocre, because he somehow managed to get into the C class. Nevertheless, Saitama would not regret it - now he may have worthy opponents!
Something Wanpunchman resembles quite well-known recently anime on the same superhero theme - Tiger and Rabbit. However, Wanpunchman, unlike the duo of two heroes, never acts as a fighter of a serious front, his ammunition is absurd and banter. The main character, along with the mangaka and the director of anime-screening, mock many famous shōnen works and their clichéd images. Remember only the scene of a battle with a ninja or a disciple of Genos, all the time demanding wise instructions and receiving them ... only Saitama himself says rare nonsense.
Of course, in addition to the banter, the viewer will not be deprived of really spectacular battle scenes. If the frame is not GG, then the characters really try to overcome their opponent with learned techniques or innate abilities, but when Saitama himself enters the battle ... almost always everything is determined by his desire to defeat one or another opponent, since picking up someone suitable for him by strength is too non-trivial task.
As the manga continues to come out, One-Punch Man will soon get a sequel. At the moment, this is an almost perfect example of the title in its genre sector. Fans of shōnen can not pass by, and those who usually disdain anime with the tags "superpower", "superpower", "fights" and the like (as soon as they do not call the shōnen) may well look at the first series - get ready that a wave of wild frenzy will overwhelm you with head.
It would seem that can be interesting in the fact that the main character puts everyone with one blow? My opinion before I started watching was exactly the same. It turns out that in addition to chic action scenes, you can add a good plot, which consists of everyday problems of the main character and a portion of excellent humor.
The action of the film takes place in an alternate universe, where cities are called letters of the English alphabet and are located in it in importance, robotics is at the highest level, monsters attack cities whenever they want, and all the characters are enrolled in a special superhero organization that sorts them by strength and issues appropriate tasks. It sounds quite banal, but in fact everything looks more than interesting and promising, and on the other hand so absurd that you will not willingly accept these rules and start watching, because the attraction of madness captures literally from the first series.
Actually, Saitama (the main character) generally has an awkward appearance, an impenetrable expression of the face, with a complete renunciation of everything that is happening and a brilliant baldness, according to him, formed due to hard training. We are shown the life of the strongest man on Earth, what really his life is, and not only endless battles with a variety of monsters, robots and aliens of all kinds and colors that fall into a knockout after the first strike of Saitama. Although the fights are rather short-lived, this does not make them less spectacular and exciting, because annoying villains and monsters appear in each episode at the most appropriate moments. And as we see in the end, it is not so easy to be the strongest and not have a worthy opponent.
The series has excellent humor, which I want to emphasize separately. These are self-critical jokes about anime and the entire superhero industry. What is worth only pokerface Saitama during another tearful story of one of the secondary heroes or an angry tirade of supervillains, who at the same time still cuts them off in the style of: “Well, you’re done?” I still have to sell! or one of the elite superheroes, with the pseudonym Homo-homo Zec and his enchanting final reception.
Finding your life path takes our hero in the end quite a lot of time, but perhaps that is what attracts and draws the viewer. Personally, I watched the entire first season in just one evening and now of course I want to see a sequel. If you are tired of monotonous films / animated series / anime, where everything happens according to the same cliché, I advise you to dilute your time with this incomparable work, One-Punch Man will not leave anyone indifferent!

Original recipe for action with a pinch of light comedy of the absurd performed by professionals
In general, I do not like Japanese media feed very much, but about once a year, some unknown force makes me Google the festivals of Japanese animation and, funny, I usually do not fail and still have the fitness. This is how I discovered One-Punch Man.
This anime has hooked me, probably, since the third episode, but I think it’s normal, considering that those who are interested in the series immediately from the top are in the minority. Moreover, many are so addicted to this picture that their hands reached for the source ONE, which, by the way, can inspire many to create their own comics. Each episode is saturated with dynamics, an atmosphere of epicity, cruelty and violence in small doses, surprises, a kind of banter, mockery of pathetic moments, a drop of eroticism and absurdity, in short, One-Punch Man is an amateur, so if the entire fourth episode you sit in the pose of "Thinker" and do not get much pleasure from watching, look for the hidden deep meaning, all sorts of Easter eggs - and do not find, then this is a clear sign that the anime is simply not for you, but suddenly you will want to see it in a couple of months.
Now almost without spoilers and almost briefly about the plot. The action of the picture takes place in a fictional universe similar to ours, where the attacks of monstrous creatures with monstrous power are considered commonplace. Our protagonist, Saitama, is an ordinary unemployed boy of twenty-five years of age, except for the fact that he is completely unbalanced when it comes to saving people, and you can already know about his imbosity by name. He leads a healthy lifestyle, runs, squats and eats the corpses of defeated opponents. Although it often inspires fear to some viewers, but many still find themselves in it, looking for their place on this thorny life path. After a fateful encounter with a mutant crab, Saitama decides to return to the old childhood dream of becoming the strongest superhero, well, after three years of hard training, he becomes bald, beautiful and incredibly strong, so strong that he is able to start the fight with a knockout. The anime also tells about the adventures of nineteen-year-old Genos, a cyborg demon who enrolled as a disciple to Saitama after he saved his life, then the fates of the characters are intertwined and their common adventure begins, lasting eleven episodes. To enhance the effect of the irony, Genos was made a complete antipode to Saitama, so that, at first, even when our cyborg uses something like a high-temperature energy volley, sixth sense, machine gun strike and plasma flows, Saitama still beats him in training fights with one blow.
If you like things like Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Dai Mahou Touge, Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma, Detroit Metal City and FLCL, as well as soft shunen thrash in general, why not watch this adaptation of the manga of the same name with friends on one of the free Saturday evenings?
