She's my daughter. Very good movie! The movie turned out to be clever, cunning, confusing, with a double bottom, and personally I love such films. Before our attention is an outstanding and delicate thriller from the French director Safi Nebbou. Starting to watch this movie, you get into an incredible story, full of doubts and anxieties, clearly reminiscent of a sticky web of paranoia.
Meet Elsa. One day, she was taking her son home, and a little girl seemed very familiar to her. The woman is sure it's her daughter. She begins to follow the baby and meets her mother. Women begin to communicate, but then the mother of this girl begins to fear Elsa, feeling in her some painful obsession. A real, cold war begins between two mothers, but soon a cleansing wave of truth sweeps away everything in its path.
This movie surprised me and pleased me. I didn't expect to like it so much. It is difficult to describe the state when you look and delve into this story, everything is trying to understand, comprehend, and the director cunningly plays with the viewer, confuses him. The picture looks tense, in constant anxiety. The French thriller turned out to be excellent, it retains all the charm and details of this genre and clearly observes them, so it was interesting to watch.
Two mothers were played by such wonderful French actresses as Sandrine Bonaire and Catherine Fro. Personally, I like them both very much. Fro I discovered for myself in the film "The Dissatisfied Sisters" with Izabel Hupper, and Katrina Fro I always loved it. In this thriller, she has the main role, and the viewer goes through this story with her. The actress played chic, and the viewer has a lot of various emotions to her heroine during the film.
As for Boner, I fell in love with her after the "Crime Ceremony", and again this film was with Isabelle Huppert. In this thriller, she also played perfectly: tense, emotional, and made up a curious duet.
I want to say that this film is about an incredible story, which is difficult to believe, but watching it with your own eyes, you get into something exciting and unthinkable. The thriller is excellent, and the attention of fans of the genre it definitely deserves.
L'empreinte de l'ange is a 2008 French drama thriller. Cinema is sharp and tough, tense and extraordinary, feminine and mysterious. I loved this movie and I said yes. Thank you.
