A worthy film on the theme of the national avengers Flight of the White Arrow is something strange. Not the continuation of the BS, released in 2007, or the remake with the original idea: the 90s, the fight between criminal gangs and vigilantes. In favor of the fact that this is the second season, says one of the main characters Georgy Ivanych nicknamed Botsman, played by Sergey Makhovikov. In favor of the remake - that, firstly, for some reason, a negative character-pharmacist was played by an actor who in the previous season was Kashin - a police general - and secondly, the hero of the series "White Arrow". The Glory of the Generals is an exact copy of the character of Nikolai Balakirev. Just one-on-one. So I'm still guessing.
The beginning caused mixed emotions. It seems that they filmed, indeed, in the nineties, the technique that was then, with the same film techniques. But then it got better and better. The quality of shooting has improved, good musical accompaniments have been picked up, no claims have been found to the logic of the narrative. As an action movie, great. Plus, what struck me was the approach: in detail, in various trifles, the director restored, showed exactly the era that I am unfamiliar with. Hoper-Invest posters, advertising, replicas of characters and actions tied to time, and much more, which causes respect (even at the cinema, someone did not believe that they shot this year). This is not an obscure time period for the second season of the Sword. And most importantly, what was expected was justice, thanks to the heroes whose faces are known this time. Now let me tell you a little bit about them.
Botzmann (George Ivanych). It is difficult to call the brain of the group and the leader, because he shares this role almost equally with Paul Verba, the head of the murder department. Mainly makes plans, knowing most of the criminals and crimes committed.
Paul Verba is the direct boss of Blinov and Sorokalet. Reasonable, balanced, generally non-conflict, strategist. He communicates with subordinates on equal terms. By the way, at the end of the first season it is listed as Sokolov.
Valery Blinov, a lover of astrology, and Maxim Sorokalet. Both love the work faithfully, like everyone else, ready to go to the end for justice to prevail.
"Glory to the Generals." As mentioned above, an exact copy of the character of Nikolai Balakirev. The same young man, passed the army, only this time the district. Even though he is a new person in the company, you believe in him, as he showed loyalty and steadfastness when tested by others (4 episodes).
You can see why they all got together to execute criminals. I am glad that they are professionals, shown as adequate people who soberly assess situations and their strengths and who are fine with their heads, despite their difficult business (at least for now).
Unfortunately, the series came out almost unnoticed, although it has great advantages. I don’t really know the era it refers to, but somehow it seems that it was. The ending was pleasant, and probably not me alone. In general, the emotions from each series were strong, nothing disappointed. Especially good is that the heroes managed to get those who considered themselves almost invulnerable. First, the fists clench when you see all sorts of scum, confident in impunity, and then it becomes easier on the soul. And there is no one to demand, unlike the first season, when instructions were dictated from above on which people to remove. I would like to know what happened next with the heroes, but I think it will be superfluous.
It's hard to find fault with anything. I understand that it is not a masterpiece, but I do not see the shortcomings point-blank.
I’ll tell you what to look at, and I’ll put a point.
