Once upon a time, evil struck Russia. But Ducalis and his boys were busy, the people resigned and waited for their fate, when suddenly a strange man emerged from nothingness, and a moment later the catastrophe passed. Who is he, a mysterious nude intellectual, did he really come to save, Ali just decided to destroy humanity? The poster is frankly mediocre and looms over thoughts of the never-ending idiocracy of post-Soviet cinema, in its hybrid dealings with money laundering. However, everything was much better.

Nice movie. The realities of the world of people who faced the absurd and let it into their lives. This mechanism of goodness affects everyone from the chief of security of the President, to the family that finally solved the housing issue. What's the alien doing here? I will not analyze by bricks the reality of Russian cinema, with its minuses and rare pluses. The story of Mercury is the strangest nugget I've ever seen. The very metaphysics of a little man who invented and most importantly embodied his role in the life of his beloved country is, damn, cool, especially when you consider who plays and is involved.
Who are the numbers associated with? That's right, ninety percent of people surveyed with that guy in the Zone movie. Unfortunately, that happens. And until then I did not think that the actor was talented, and here the role of the woe clown opened Chichlov in a new light. He can be funny, courageous, tragic, even caricature images under his power. The diversity of talent is rare. A comedy about the end of the world, with unexpected and pleasant moments. The other thing that is good about this film is that there is no evil or vulgarity in the scenes. Everything is somehow structured and kind, like a new Gaidai with an adjustment for being. So easily passed this surre, and so cool that Numbers in this role is a head above Burunov, he is also good but the role is secondary, and pulls this Russian art about the end of the world. Definitely plus, and it is extremely unfortunate that the actor was gone, could come out a good sequel.

I watch Russian comedies. I'm not a snob. It just happened. But the humor in the film “Man from the Future” simply turned out to be headily higher and thinner than Russian representatives of this genre. And the point here is this: there are no stamps - the authors clearly do not occupy originality; there is no vulgarity (and to turn around here was, where in full). There is no pink melodramatism that is observed everywhere (it is not clear that men or women are making movies). If you are a man, it is a shame.

Originally, subtly, intelligently and clearly with very healthy self-irony. It could have been sharper, but the author knows better. As no Bashirov and Numbers in the main roles.

Acting game: Numbers and Bashirs are an excellent comedy duo. But who would have thought? Numbers have never played a major role. Episodes, yes. But the most interesting thing is that both actors never actually played a positive role. And I was really surprised that they could empathize. I think the director worked hard not to use them in battered roles, but it was worth it. No one has ever seen Bashir in such a role. And absolutely the entire cast played perfectly. For me, Skarnitskaya, Ivan Dobranravov Jr. also turned out to be a discovery. Hero, as I said, empathize.

Scenario: There's one thing about this. There is no antagonist at all. At least I don't remember that. But this solution works as well as possible. The minuses are flashbacks, but in this case they work like flippers in the story and move the plot, making it dynamic. They're probably a must. As for dialogue: the film can be disassembled by quotations.

Director: I watched the short film Tasya by the same director. Two different people. There is no point in comparing these jobs. But the short film “Savior”, on the basis of which this picture is made, a funny genre parody of “Terminator”, nothing more. In the film "Man from the Future" already visible concept. Receptions of comedies of the 60s are competently used. Of course, the author has his own style. Against the background of domestic comedies, this picture looks generally something completely new. Like a breath of fresh air.

Of the minuses: The film is 75 minutes. And in the middle, it feels like the rhythm is starting to stall. But again flashbacks... In a word, the authors got out. First, there was a short film that actually made it into the film. At the level of drama, it makes no sense to find fault. Iron.

P. S. The scene in the red square honoring the main character is of course all of us! Hello, Soviet Union! Nothing in our country has changed. But to live after the movie "Man from the Future" and smile, believe me, I want to.

I was advised to watch this movie. Said: ' unusual movie'.

It's really unusual. It is not like those crafts that are now issued as comedies, when the humor is either flat or below the belt. This is not the case, although it costs 16+. I think the authors could do without the naked doodles of Alexander Chislov, the main actor. But we decided not to. This is their copyright.

I was struck by four things in this movie.
1. Unusual scenario. Not a three-act structure. There is no pronounced protagonist. It is not clear (to the end) what he wants. And of course, of course, love.

Nevertheless, you look at the screen to the very end and constantly catch yourself thinking ' what next?'
2. An unexpected performance by Alexander Bashirov, language does not turn to say, in the role of a supporting plan. Such a complete and accurate hit on the topic he rarely happens. Usually his performance is a solo number, a bright patch on the body of history. It's not. It's all in. Respect!
3. The lead role. And Alexander Numbers in it. Viewers remember this actor from episodes in hundreds (!) of films. But the numbers never played a major role. And here. You could think of it as his benefit. Everything we know about the movie is in the movie. But much more than we knew about him. It turns out that he can be funny and ugly (as always), but also smart, shrill, tragic ... you can think of many more epithets. The actor was multifaceted, not one-sided. This is impressive.

4. Well, that's it! Directing. It is clear that when you take on all the roles of episodic actors, masters of reprise, it is difficult not to follow their lead, turning the film into a set of attractions. So Roman Artemyev walked on this knife blade and held on. Didn't even falter. I haven’t seen such a complete movie in a long time. The film is pure in genre, pure in content, sustained in rhythm and pace. He's just like film school. At the same time, it is fresh, original, unusual. It's full of humour that we're not used to, or rather, we've gotten used to. This is a real movie.

And I am very sorry that the screening in the House of Cinema had more viewers than in the first week of rental. The release of this picture in seventy copies is a tragic mistake.
The audience will certainly watch it. At home on TV, but! It would be better if we all watched it in the cinema.
The authors deserve our recognition.

During the viewing of the film, the whole room was laughing ) Because there are reasons:

1) Excellent cast: Maria Skornitskaya - wonderful, charismatic, a lady with her chip ), Alexander Chipov - pleased to the depths of his soul, it is clear that a person lives the role. All the rest of us have done well.

2 Competent humor. I think moviegoers understand that making a comedy is very difficult. Very often, among Russian cinema, another comedy falls out with a humorous vulgar and very strained, that and wait for a sign with the inscription ' laugh') And in this film everything is done well and well!
3 Great script . That's half the success of the movie. The plot is very interesting. You look and ask yourself the following questions: 'Who is this scientist Mercury and what thoughts are spinning in his head?'

I never wrote reviews. But in this case, I decided it was worth it. I came across this movie trailer and decided to watch it. The film positions itself as a comedy, but after watching it, you begin to understand that the film contains not only the first stated layer, but also an acute social parody of modern society. It is surprising not only that throughout the viewing the smile does not come off your face, but also that you begin to feel sincere sympathy for the main character, a seemingly naive person, and truly begin to empathize with him. In ' Man from the Future' the line between grotesque and irony is subtly observed, which is a very, very rare phenomenon for modern comedies in our cinema. It doesn’t make sense to tell the story because you have to watch the picture. And it is necessary to watch to understand that we can shoot comedies for which there is no shame and which you want to review many times, like real sincere Soviet films.
