'Three Cats' - one of the domestic cartoons about the family, which was released in 2015. I'll give it a grade:
9 out of 10
Note the pros:
1. Moral. The cartoon teach children different ' household wisdom' which are useful in life:
- How to behave with friends?
- What are the circumstances in which parents should be contacted?
- Why should you wash your hands before eating?
- How do you divide responsibilities between friends?
There is no excessive mentoring, but according to the actions of the heroes, children will be able to understand how to behave and how not. After all, you can find a way out of any situation, the main thing is to show ingenuity, imagination and never quarrel to live together (directly the goal of the cartoon).
2. A variety of heroes. Based on these characters, such values as friendship, mutual understanding, the ability to negotiate and just have fun are shown. Who is in the cartoon?
Corjik is a mischievous and funny kitten who likes to play, have fun. Impulsive, cheerful.
Caramel is a younger sister, a cat who likes to fashion, play and, of course, give smart ideas and thoughts to her brothers.
Compote is a melancholy older kitten who loves science, nature (watching butterflies), dreams of making a big discovery. A little touchy, but always helps friends.
There is also Mustard, Sweetheart, Gonia, who loves aliens and aliens, Sazhik is a black cat and a lover of different stories, Nudik, who dreams of becoming a clown, Raisins, who likes to paint and make crafts. Heroes have parents and Corjik too (Daddy cat, who works in a pastry shop and mom-cat is a fashion designer). And all these characters learn to interact with each other, to pass the peculiar 'storms'.
The cartoon tells about different things from the past, some reference to what was. Heroes do their usual daily activities.
3. There is no acid graphics, obsessive stories, the plot is dynamic - kittens do not sit still, walk, travel, learn something new.
4. Musical accompaniment - a lot of brilliant songs - 'Somewhere behind the forest and behind the hill house, nice house ...' and others, the melody is memorable, just a musical picture.
Sometimes I meet comments ' Curve model of the family - dad-cat - a fat slob, and mom - bosses the family, with Caramel does everything herself' I believe that in the cartoon both parents are active, they help kittens, just they are depicted truthfully - each has pros and cons; not a reason to criticize the concept, although you can think about it.
Of the shortcomings: I want Sweetheart to speak hard and not distort the words, it looks a little strange, although everyone is different, but in a children's cartoon you can do without it.
Briefly: a good cartoon to watch with a child, a thoughtful concept, instructive stories and plot.
I hope my review will be helpful.
Dignity: Good cartoon. Flaws: Constant incorrect meowing, sexism towards the cat Hello, dear guests, my parents! If you have children at home, then you know how cats and cats meow (there are three of them in the cartoon). Well, I'll start rolling a barrel at this animated failed creation. First of all, I don’t understand why every time I hear “three cats” and a couple of seconds later, there’s an amendment to “two cats and one cat.” Does the movie maker get excited?? Can't you just do it as it should (or humanly) in the cartoon? Although they depicted cats very clumsy, that in the end you can confuse their floors. Secondly, it seems to me that this cartoon has powerful roots growing from the west, that is, the atmosphere of the cartoon and the characters, namely the shapes and features of the muzzles and body shapes, are ripped from overseas cartoons. For example, take the cartoon "Masha and the Bear" - there it is specifically clear that the characters are Russian, purebred. And there are some clumsy heads (about the hands of matches and about the legs I generally keep silent). By the way, from the same series with the cartoon Pippa Pig, which annoys me and not only (my sons - the eldest and youngest) Third, the most important thing is the director’s inadequacy, which consists in the wrong construction of speech for fleas. How do they meow all the time? No, not as it should be, but as it should not be: miu miu... Is it like cats after taking valerian? Well, it was necessary to show valerian, because this is how children begin to misunderstand cat talk (or what else to call it). And why do Iuq so often? Do you want children to turn into zombies? There will be one phrase in my head for everything: miu-miu. . . It was the highest degree of insanity, so I can’t watch this cartoon. Although he watched his sons: the elder has a priority of "Mi mi bears" (although also characters with potato heads, just like Uzbeks - clearly taken from the West), but the younger likes "trees". And here I understand my own sons, because they refer to this feline delirium just NICAK. What's wrong with 96% of your reputation? Parents, what are you? We have good cartoons on the same TV channel "Carousel" - a pond, but in addition to this TV channel there is also "Mult", and on the TV channel "Multimania" in general many good Soviet cartoons. . . Overall impression: Miu miu? You sure it's mew, not meow?
Our animation began in the early 20th century, the first Russian animator was Alexander Shiryaev, who began to create cartoons using puppet, drawn and combined techniques. And in 1935, the well-known and beloved studio Soyuzmultfilm on cartoons was already founded, which has grown up more than one generation. And cartoons, which is loved and reviewed not only by the older generation that lived in the USSR. The Soviet Union collapsed almost 30 years ago, everything changed. People, politics, imported cars and imported clothes. The changes also affected Russian cinema, in particular animation. Previously, Soviet cartoons taught children the best qualities of a person, and the fact that children watch now on blue screens, does not withstand almost any criticism. Modern cartoons at worst, harmful in content and form, and at best ambiguous. One of these cartoons “Three cats”, I will describe all its disadvantages.
1. The first drawback that immediately catches the eye of the viewer is the visual series. He here resembles the British animated series “Peppa Pig”, cats are drawn quite simple and even slightly caricatured, the backgrounds do not look like real landscapes, the animated series is also about a family that has more than one child and has a voice-over narrator who has the same voice. But this is really an analogue of Peppa Pig, and not just a randomly similar animated series. Proof of this fact is that in the series “Spring Has Come” the whole cat family got dirty in the mud, and after that the mother of three kittens said “Our dirty family reminds me of someone – shit, shit, shit.” It is possible that the animated series “Three Cats” and “Peppa Pig” take place in the same universe.
2. Feminism. Almost all male members of the family are among the main characters, some not far away. The head of the family is depicted as indecisive and infantile, and a disrespectful attitude, though not often, slips towards him. His eldest son, Kompot, whines in almost every episode because of some problem little thing in everyday life. And in the series "Day of Scarecrows" almost wet his pants. It is interesting how much it is necessary to have a fine mental organization in order to dissipate snot at the age of 7 because of any trifle. And no one is trying to cultivate from him a persistent and strong personality, no one even makes comments about his whining, but they regretted it. But if we assume that the child grows up whining and do not try to prevent it in any way, then in adolescence he will only have more mental problems, for example: Inferiority complexes, frequent depression ... Usually, in large, traditional families, the example of the older child is set, including for younger children. In this case, the youngest sister, Caramelka, who also always knows how to act, almost always offers her ideas and teaches her brothers. The younger brother, Korzhik, is an image of both a merry man, a fool and a difficult child. There is no decent, or at least normal, male main character. There is hardly a good example for a boy. Conflicts and pressing problems are usually settled in the family by Karamelka, and the mother is female family members.
3. Absence of negative characters. Although this is not such a fat minus, but it is still worth talking about. Where are they?! Aren’t there characters like the old Shapoklyak or the Wolf from “Well, wait!” in real life? There is no example of a reasonable fight against evil - negative characters. How will a child watch cartoons only with the absence of negative characters, will try to resolve conflicts with abusers? Just arguing?!
4. Lack of decent songs. What songs are there? "Three Cats, Three Tails," "Sweet House" is not something you want to hear from time to time. In the Soviet Union, the songs were not only kind and well-written lines, but also carried a certain meaning. For example: Winged swing, Blue Wagon, Wounded bird. And the songs in “Three Cats” are pure for children, they may even dance to them.
5. Character names. What are the names of the main characters and not just them? The three kittens are Kompot, Corjik, Caramelka. In my opinion, naming a baby after food is not the best solution. I'll give you a situation: the youngest daughter is called "Candy," and the eldest son says, "I want to eat a sweet candy." (not in the sense that the sister) Well, you know, you can troll a child with that name in honor of food. The parents of three kittens have no better names, the father is called Kotya, and the mother is Kisul because the father is a cat and the mother is a cat. Isn't it primitive?!
And it is very strange that parents do not take into account the circumstances and the time when they are going to do something and therefore miss the plane, forget food, etc. Of course, in the animated series there are pluses, some learning, and cognitive, but what does it change? After all, there are Soviet cartoons in which the instructiveness is not less than in the Three Cats and in which there is no feminism. It is better to show the child “Gray neck” where she protects the hare from the fox, and then he responds to her, which teaches the child courage and mutual assistance or “Bullet and jug”, the main morality, which – without difficulty can not catch a fish from the pond. Remember, parents, you are responsible for what your children watch.
Sometimes I watch this cartoon with my daughter, who doesn’t speak yet, but cheerfully sings “tatta, tatta, miu-mu-mu.” In short, the animated series shows the stories of one close-knit family with vivid examples of good behavior. There are very good sketches in which even adults will find something to learn.
"Three cats" are popular not only in Russia, but also abroad. We are filming for the holding CTC-Media. In English-speaking countries, the cartoon is released on the platforms of the Nickelodeon channel under the name Kid-E-Cats.
Here are a few things that impressed me:
The first color. They are very pleasant, moderately bright and saturated. The picture creates a good, playful mood. I also liked the drawing without any details. Emotions are very clear, which is very important for children.
The second are the heroes. The main characters in the cartoon are Papa Cat, Mama Cat, and their children – Compote, Corjik and Caramelka. Dad goes to work, gets tired, is not always attentive and often does not cope with household chores. At the same time, he is not ashamed of his mistakes, and spends all his free time with children, trying to teach and educate them. Mom is a caring hostess, the main one in everyday life and a wise mentor for kittens. The compote is often in the clouds. Korzhik is a big prankster. She is a princess who always knows what to do. In general, a traditional large family.
However, some see the subtexts of feminism here. Personally, I don’t think the writers made that sense when they created characters whose images are close to ordinary characters. To household chores and other household things, men always have a separate approach - sometimes even experimental. You want to surprise, invent and discover something new. I don’t have any questions about Dad.
The third is useful. In the first place among the advantages of the animated series, I would put morality, ethics and morality. Important rules and regulations try to show in each series. For example, cat children learn why you should think about others, why you need work and what leads to work, children introduce cats from other countries and explain many key things in behavior in simple language – for example, how to do wrong.
I’ve seen a series talking about plastics, gadgets and other modern themes. I think that's good. Among other things, the cartoon is just cheerful and kind. Again, my daughter is two years old. She doesn't understand morality. But in the moments when the kittens are bullying, she shouts: "Ah-I-I-Y." And when the children correct everything, loud laughter and applause are heard in the room.
To be honest, until I saw nothing wrong in this cartoon, why not recommend it to children. Of course, the main example for children is parents. But if the cartoon says what is good and what is bad, it is also useful.
One of the domestic cartoons about the family, which I and my child watch with pleasure, unlike the same “Barboskin”. The cartoon is simple: a family of five is shown father-mother-three children, each time they get into situations familiar to us and decide how to behave. For example, what to do if you find someone else’s toy, break a flower pot, do you need to wash your hands after a walk, etc. Children in a family with different personalities: Compote is an introvert and melancholic, loves biology, Corjik is a cheerful starter, and Caramelka is a well-bred girl who always knows what to do. And it’s not that the cartoon promotes feminism, it’s just that girls understand basic truths before boys and behave better in society (three years of work at school confirm this fact). And just because Dad Cat doesn't run the household doesn't mean he's a mattress. Sorry, in my family, most often I do household chores, make a shopping list, but this does not mean that I can not leave my husband with a child (if I have to go on business or even to another city to visit my mother) and ask him to buy groceries or clean the room.
The graphics in the cartoon are pleasant, on the other hand, now such a choice among cartoons that in this regard, the Three Cats slightly lose to competitors.
7 out of 10
When I saw it, I immediately thought, “Wow, we need to see the new Russian cartoon,” after a short look, it is already clear that I have already seen it somewhere. Oh, yes, Peppa Pig. The style is similar, about the family, that is, the creators of this cartoon envied the British and made their not the most outstanding cartoon. Smart. Plus, it's not the right family model. Too much feminism. I am not going to repeat the reviews from above. The average kitten in the family, by the way, the most normal, but uninteresting character.
We're talking about the bad. There are good things. Great and memorable stories, morality, songs. I advise the authors to remove the voiceover. He's not really needed. I can't say anything about the universe. It's all beaten up. Animals live in a civilizational world. I've seen it many times.
Let's take stock. Kids watch. But explain what is happening to adults. Pros and cons have made themselves such an assessment.
You can immediately see that psychologists worked, the scripts were written by psychologists and dialogues. The whole family loved the series, and me, and my wife and child. There are a lot of situations and behavioral models when it is shown how you can and how you need to react to a person and how you can relate to it and what can be derived from it. This is the relationship between children and adults. It is duty, responsibility, justice, understanding the model of the world and a healthy, adequate family. Even for an adult there is something to learn.
I love the atmosphere of cats and ears everywhere. It's really great, a lot of fun to watch!
Not a bad cartoon, but the child should be given to watch very selectively, first view the series itself.
Let me explain why.
A family model that looks normal. But in fact, the curve: male characters (dad and older kitten) are tuffy. Dad can't do anything, he's a fat slob, kids are always thinking about how to help him, he can't make decisions himself, under his wife's heel. The eldest child, apparently, grows up a princess, a delicate vulnerable soul, almost cries, almost pees in his pants from fear, etc. Is this a man’s model of behavior accepted in society?
Mama-cat, apparently, a real man in the family. She decides everything and tells everyone what to do. And everyone obeys her. Also, all good ideas always belong to her and her daughter and they look like winners among their men.
This is the norm of behavior imposed on our children: a helpless male princess (in the person of father and son) and a woman who is about to ring between her legs (in the person of mother).
Isn’t it time to shoot cartoons where the father is the hero, the winner, the protection and support of the family, and the mother is a good fairy, beauty, a wise woman and the keeper of the hearth. Isn’t this the right family model?
This is one of the best children's animated series of recent years. It is doubly pleasant that it is also Russian-made. I don’t know how low he is in the movie.
The cartoons show stories about the family of cats. Mom, dad, two brothers Corjik and Compote and their sister Caramelka. The cartoon is very instructive, but not in the field of modern developmental trends, where a child at two years old should count, and at three should speak fluent English. Here there is a deviation in the education of good and important universal qualities. In the form of a game, kittens learn that you need to respect the sleep and work of older people, how important it is to be kind to each other and that every offense has consequences and you need to cope with them yourself.
In one episode, kittens go to the store for bread and are tempted to buy toys, but then through their logical reflections, they come to the conclusion that they can not eat toys, and they also want to eat. Therefore, you understand that you need to choose and you can not always get everything you want. Many decisions kittens come by themselves, talking to each other, and not by moralizing adults. At the same time, the cartoon is not positioned as clearly educational, it is easy and interesting for children, where everything is played out in an interesting form for children.
Unobtrusive soft drawing graphics, nicely refers to Soviet cartoons. All the characters are like real cats and pretty cute. And unlike Soviet cartoons, this series is modern and touches on many modern issues. Topics of phones and fashionable gadgets, children's fears, there are new holidays in the form of Halloween and other things that modern children face.
I don't have any complaints about the series. In different series, the theme of art, respect for elders, and friendship, and how to overcome childhood fears, brother and sister relationships, helping adults and many other aspects are touched upon. There is no vulgar humor, bad example, or aggressiveness and cruelty. I would recommend this series to all children from any age.
