This is a historical Spanish action drama, shot on real, but completely unknown to me events.
It turns out that at the end of the 19th century, Spain owned the Philippines, and this film tells about the confrontation of a corps of Spanish soldiers of 50 people, and the local population. What makes the story more interesting is the historical fact that while these soldiers were defending, Spain sold the Philippines to America, but they did not bother to tell their fighters on the islands. Soldiers, led by stupid and stubborn Spanish soldiers, for a long time tried to defend themselves from the local public, who tried in vain to convince them that the war was over, and that they had long been at war with the Americans, and they did not care about the Spaniards at all.
Overall, a fascinating story, well shot, with tension and interesting real historical characters.
All fans of historical battle films, I think this Spanish tape will taste!
