In the United States, this film is known as the worst comedy of the past decade. Against her background, the previous films with YouTubers seem not so vulgar to the limit as “Mod Airplane”. For films with the participation of our YouTubers, I do not vouch, because I have little interest in this topic.
A little bit of creation history. There was such a platform "Vine", in which six-second videos were shot, most often comedic, which went to the people. Someone came up with the idea to shoot the first film with the participation of the beaumonde of all jokers, but suddenly, the Weiner shop was closed. And while the “stars” quarreled with each other, the tape lay on the waiting shelf for three years.
In its pitch, "Aeroplane Maude" is like a shitty, modern remake of one cult Zuckers comedy. Removed from the principle of “everything and at once”, out of place played memes, presented to disgust clichés, and actions are devoid of logic for narration, even in such a crazy story from the Paul brothers. And yes, an attempt was made to replay the famous scene with coffee from the original, but the directors deliberately vulgarized it. As for the vulgarity, from the strange scene of copulating CGI praying mantises and an orgy in the middle of the timekeeping, did the creators realize that the audience of each weiner consists of children?
Weiners (now YouTubers) play, if not themselves, then those whom they portrayed in their best videos, namely the types of stereotypical Latinos, white or black, and as loud and annoying as possible. The development of character and speech can not be, because according to the writers, the characters will be remembered by the same types and rawness. Other YouTubers also starred in the film, such as Casey Naistet, whose cameo didn’t seem so unexpected. And only Murmansk Vitaly Zdorovetsky steals screen time, playing a psychopath (putting him on a passenger plane!) at the level of Nick Cage or Patrick Kilpatrick. Even this replay brightens up an already stillborn project.
Remember the clip from Kimmel's Oldman show? Let this video be a joke, but there the actor was talking about acting, and his subsequent cry with the mat was an incentive that made it clear to the incompetents that they either actually engage in this skill closely or get out of here. People not from the world of cinema have always been filmed, since the birth of that art, and after all, there were always exceptions in every rule.
But not this time.
