The debut of Bobs and Twinkle Khanna's curly squirrels, we'll start together! (I wonder how I missed that?) . . )
After watching the film 'Martyrs on March 23' about Bhagat Singh, I found out that of Bobby Deol's films, I only had 3 films left unwatched. And the very first 'Rainy Season' I haven't seen it. In general, films with the name Barsaat in Deol two, were shot with a difference of 10 years and to each other do not have a relationship at all. This is his debut film, where he is 25-27 years old, where he is all so romantic and inexperienced, but the potential for him as an actor is immediately visible. I disliked Bobsa at the beginning of my Indo-Manya hobby, I don’t remember why. I don't remember. I watched his films, of course, but from the filmography of other actors. And so, after 15 years of watching Indian films intensively, he, his brother Sunny, their sister Asha Deol and Dharm and their stepmother Hema finally came to me. Very nice and talented family in Bollywood. Dharma made a huge bet on this film to promote his youngest son in the Indian film industry. But now my hands reached him ... in short, I walked to him for a long time.
The only thing I don't understand is why it's raining. I think there was only one rain in the whole movie. But Papa Dharma calculated the rest correctly, down to the millimeter. Bobs enters the frame for the first time, naturally on horseback, and also naturally tames a wild tiger. I don’t know how it was shot, I think there was a double (or a dead tiger). Then, as usual, the village boy Badal goes to the city to study and meets a fairy (at first, evil) and tames her. There is a lot of romance in the film, a lot of chase-catch-killers on cars, horses, trains and chariots, shooting from a pistol-bow-rifle, poison, spears, savages, grenades ... I won't tell you everything, and that's enough. And, of course, angry relatives (dad in this case), where without them. In general, the film is based on the classic Bollywood canons of the mid-90s. Very romantic Bobs, all so charmingly curly... Twinkle Khanna is also cool, she is a peculiar actress in general, combining the charm of her father (Rajesh Khanna) and mother (Dimple Kapadia), but here she was filmed only a little. She was quickly taken by Akshay Kumar. She has a slightly unusual appearance and an unusual voice, but she is a good actress.
The songs in the movie are amazing. Anyone who wants to be nostalgic is Velki. In general, the film went very soulful. I recommend all fans of Bobsick and Dimple - to look at them at the dawn of their career.
