A parody of Jane Eyre or Another Arntholtz. If you have a bad mood, it is cloudy outside the window, you do not want to do anything, do not go to work, but there is a desire to wrap yourself in a warm blanket, relax with a hot cup of tea and laugh from the heart, then this masterpiece is for you.
The film is based on the book by Charlotte Bronte & #39; Jane Eyre & #39; with the transfer of events to our time. But if the original is a serious dramatic work, then 'Pearls' is its real parody with ridiculous replicas, absurd situations and an outrageously naive plot. Perhaps this is what the book would look like if Charlotte Brontë got drunk or smoked before taking up her pen. The most important ' feature & #39; the film is a mania of eavesdropping, which affects all characters without exception. By the number of eavesdropping, this series can be safely entered in the Guinness Book of Records. Moreover, all the characters have a phenomenal hearing, since during listening sessions, being behind a tightly closed door or hiding in bushes for three kilometers, they manage to catch every word spoken in a whisper.
Despite the weak direction, all this drunken nonsense of a madman is simply masterfully executed! The selection and play of actors is beyond praise. For every actor, his role is perfect. Everything is played so skillfully and naturally that it atones for all the shortcomings of the film. Especially liked Lyubov Germanov, Anna Yakunina and Yuri Shlykov. Perhaps Domogarov is no longer in age role forty-year-old Mr. Rochester, but he plays wonderfully. But Polina Strelnikova pumped up unnaturalness and playfulness. Apparently, it's not her character. Although outwardly she is very suitable for the role of a young, fresh and clean aristocratic girl. What strikes Pauline more is her incredible resemblance to the Arntholtz sisters! She even plays as hysterical as they do. If in Russia they wanted to film another English book - 'The Thirteenth Tale' - then these three would be the best fit for the main role.
