Touching the sky The Nasuvers universe is one of the largest universes in Japanese modern entertainment culture, similar to those in the United States (Marvel, DC). And as many will agree, one of its most interesting episodes is the 5th war for the Holy Grail in the city of Fuyuki – Destiny. Night of the Fight.
According to its structure, the events of Destiny / Night of Fight (hereinafter Stey Knight), are divided into 4 alternative events (in Unlimited blade works there is another second ending, which is made separately from the series / film), which reveal the fate of the protagonist depending on the choice he made. This film describes the introductory part of the story "Touching Heaven", Ruth Sakura.
The plot is both the weakest and strongest part of the film. He does not spend time retelling events that are certainly important for the viewer to understand, which have already been shown in the previous parts of Stay Knight. For example, the scene of the first battle of Archer and Lancer, the scene of saving Emija Shiro from death, etc. Also, the film does not reveal the characters that were revealed in other parts of the filmed novel (Arturia, Tosaki, Heroic Spirit of Emija and many others). For an untrained viewer, it will be difficult to understand what is happening on the screen, because even Rin’s story about the essence of the Grail War was omitted; for people who watched other parts, this is a plus, thanks to which more time is allocated to show the story and paying more attention to relatively new characters.
Drawing, just superb, from the animation of fights to the painted landscapes of the city, for which a huge thank you studio Ufotable. By the way, fights in the fayte do not find fault at all - beautiful, bright, atmospheric, bloody, without any dialogue for 30 episodes, ala Sasuke, return to the village and sluggish kicks.
Music in Presage Flower is simply chic - pretentious, oppressive and beautiful. And most importantly corresponds to the moments in which the atmosphere plays and increases the influence of the atmosphere on the viewer.
Characters. It should be understood that in general, the whole Stay Knight is an animated adaptation of a harem visual novel, where events develop taking into account the girl you chose. This part is a story about the relationship of Sakura, the youngest daughter of the Mato family, her brother, Shinji, a servant - Ryder and Emija Shiro - the main character. At first glance, the characters seem ordinary, because a good 20 minutes of the picture tell us about the almost daily life of the heroes, before the call of servants. By the end of the film, none of them seem clear. Fate is changing.
Overall, the film pleased me. Dialogues not shown in other parts of the film, the sharp development of the plot, gloom, music and juicy fights delighted my ears and eyes for all 2 hours of viewing and therefore I advise everyone to watch, but only after Fate/Stay Night.Unlimited Blade Works and preferably Fate/Zero.
