What's wrong with sharing our love? To write a review of this film is to admit to watching it. Not a film, but a scandal, a soulless, defamatory film ... There was a lot of noise, a lot of protests, because the film was promoted as an erotic story about a threesome. It took more than a year to finally get it on screen. But what's so terrible about him? As it turned out, all the hype around the film is an empty sound.
A little bit about the plot. In the center of the picture is a provincial girl, whose dreams are to conquer the cities and marry a rich man. Having escaped from under the wing of her parents, the girl goes to the city, where soon her heart wins the charming Raj. Strong, noble, tattoo musician saves Pakhi from rapists. Judging by his car, his lifestyle, this guy is a Pakhi dream, rich and cool. Raj also has warm feelings for Pakhi. Raj invites Pakhi to his country house. In the house, in addition to Raj, two more live: a brutal guard and Vir, Raj’s best friend, as Raj called “younger brother.” Soon, Raj notices that Viru likes Pakhi.
A banal story? Isn't it? But it's not that simple. Ishq Junoon is the story of two mentally ill people whose illness begins with their unhappy childhood. What kind of people, how they live, what they think, all this will be revealed in the course of the plot of the picture.
Now to the actors. I was really looking forward to this movie. And this reason was released a year before the premiere of the erotic clip Kabhi Yun Bhi. But it was not the video that conquered me (although the song is very beautiful), but the main actor - Rajbir Singh. The novice actor remembered me for his attractive appearance after the TV series "Consent" and "The Adventures of Hatim". And again, a TV actor in eroticism. But I had to watch. What can I say? I liked his Raj. I could fall in love with him. But! The second part of the film, where it was necessary to show madness, in my opinion failed. Rajbir is a weak actor, that must be admitted. Even though I'm watching him, he's still learning and learning. Pakhi (debutant Divya Singh) strongly outplayed. But Akshay Rangshahi (also debutante), coped well. Mysterious obsessed brother turned out well. But most of all I was conquered by the guard, I don’t remember the name of his hero, but Reshad Delavar Khan is a very cool actor. It’s his debut and he’s working on a few more films. It looks very powerful on the screen.
Very beautiful soundtrack for the film. All the songs are very beautiful. Especially Sirf Tu, Ishq Junoon, Kabhi Yun Bhi (erotic, by the way, in the film two versions, one with the main character, the second, in the final credits, with a Brazilian model, a more frank version). The rest of the clips were 12+. Love, romance of Raj and Pakhi.
The film is really an erotic thriller and keeps in suspense while watching. In principle, I liked the main idea of the film, and it is not in “threesomes”, but in the fact that it is important in adolescence to get the right education. If more significant actors (such as Sunny Leone, Rajneesh Duggal or other stars of this genre) had played in this film and Vishesh Films, for example, could have burned out. But with such failed actors and protests, only those who follow the characters of the film know about the film. And since they're out of nowhere, that's the result.
Given all the nuances, I would give the film less than 7 stars. But I was fascinated by the final scene, and the story itself, so that's the assessment. I can't recommend a movie for an amateur. Maybe after reading the review, you will make a conclusion to watch or not. I personally plan to review it with someone.
