Take me home or forgive all offenses. After losing his memory in a car accident, Tan tries to remember who he is and where he came from. Eventually, he finds the data that leads him to his home. But the more he gets to know his family, the more secrets he reveals.
Plot. Very ambiguous, at first it seems a thriller, not foreshadowing anything special, and looks easy and clear. Tan has a memory loss due to being hit by a car, and he accidentally sees notes about his family, then goes home, where his sister is waiting for him. But all this lightness is visible, and then, the dizzying loops of time and mystical chaos begin, which is understandable only when watching carefully, for those who like to look at the half of their eyes, the film will be frankly boring and incomprehensible. The ending turns into a drama that breaks down the boundaries of time and shows that the power of love is sometimes stronger than resentment and death.
Actors. The main character, a guy familiar from the films “That is called love” and “Pi Mack from Fra Hanong”, played again a very nice young man who happens to be in the center of events. But more attention is certainly attracted by his sister, who is brighter in appearance and charisma, who plays a complex character, evoking reflections on the beauty and ugliness of the inner world and outer shell. But more regrets were caused by the mother of heroes, who could not create the perfect home for her family, as she could not accept her daughter and love as she loved her son, but I may be wrong about this. Of course, the actors in places overplayed, especially the sister Tang, but all this can easily be attributed to the Thai flavor, without which to watch the film is no longer interesting, it is a highlight of cinema.
A separate hero is the house itself, a place in which three different families lived, and who ended their lives with a terrible death. What was supposed to be the perfect home did not bring anyone happiness, the only question is whether it was a demon or human anger.
Atmosphere Dark and heavy, despite the bright colors at first, you feel something sinister, as well as behind the smile of a beautiful girl, there was a genuine rage and madness. Melodramatic pauses diluted the psychologically complex picture.
In general, the film Take Me Home, this is not horror in its pure form, but a real mystical and psychological thriller with elements of drama, which adequately represents Thai cinema.
