Trying to curb fantasy. Let’s start with a simple and unambiguously positive – everything about audio-visual perception. For him, the cartoon in the worst case should be put very well. There are no complaints to the music, its sustained style, and the most delicious is the animation, pleasant smooth, and moreover, complementing and revealing the characters.
Let's move on to the script.
1. Old as the world, simple as three pennies, but who says that is bad? It develops, has its twists, a certain disclosure, and even morality with a message. A valuable and useful message.
2. About everything that happens around the central line absolutely accurately says the title of the review - Attempt to curb the imagination.
Almost from the beginning to the end does not leave the feeling - the general idea of the writer is much, much wider and deeper than what is shown, and due to the lack of timekeeping, he was forced to cut the text, leaving only numerous hints of the depth of the world. Too many questions: why here? and this is how? and are in fact the main disadvantage of the cartoon. After viewing, you want to look for a sequel or a foreword or both at once to see the whole picture. Therefore, it turns out that the writer tried to curb his imagination by cramming it into the narrow framework of one full-length cartoon. Maybe he didn’t want to, but that’s what happened.
To summarize the above:
It is definitely worth seeing once.
And a separate plus for Gretchen - it deserves a separate film or series.
