Unhinged “The Lost Ones” is a rather mediocre horror thriller that is not impressive. Although at first the tape is intriguing, but in the future in most cases it causes boredom, not suspense. But let's go a little deeper.
The plot is not particularly original. Girls, going by car to the wedding of one of them, fall into a bind. The case brings them together with a clearly inadequate young man, whom the girls kill in an accident. Wanting to hide their crime, the heroines load the corpse into a car, but how to spite the car runs out of gasoline, and for many miles around from signs of civilization only an old house where a single woman lives. She has girls and decides to stay overnight.
Problems with the plot arise almost immediately, and continue throughout the timekeeping. For the most part, this is common for the genre of absurdity and illogicality in the behavior of the characters.
In terms of horror, the picture is also not that much working out its genre. No, of course, in the film there are quite unpleasant visual scenes, in some places generously splashes fake blood, but this is weakly frightening. In terms of the thriller, "The Lost Ones" cope at about the same insufficient level. Of course, suspense scenes skip periodically, but there are not so many of them to keep the viewer’s attention. But you can praise the appearance of the local maniac, namely the appearance, nothing more, but at least something.
Perhaps it is worth mentioning exactly one plot twist present in the tape. Well, there's a twist here. But it is fairly easy to predict, especially for those who ate a pack of dogs in thrillers. For someone, it may be unexpected, due to which the film will earn one or two extra points.
As a result, “Lost” is a rather niche product, which is not necessary to watch, but there is nothing at all bad about it. This is a picture that can be included in the background under something else, periodically looking at the screen in the most interesting places.
