Plastic phantasmagoria The cartoon "Max and the Company" is the case when I watched the cartoon, 100 times so as not to lie and that's all, because I could not understand what this cartoon is about, what it is about at all.
There is no plot in the cartoon, I only once from the fifth began to understand what was happening. It seems that the company for the production of flywheels is in crisis, and the owner Rudolph decides to produce genetically modified flies to establish production. But it's only been the fifth time, so I didn't really understand what was going on, who these characters were, what they were doing. I don't know why this Mortan is helping Rudolph when he was ordered to liquidate this company, where did all the changed flies go? Simply, the narrative is kind of confused, circumcised and incomprehensible, the whole cartoon it is just meaningless and incomprehensible.
Not much is known about Max’s father. Why does he call this fellow traveler father? Was it really his father or Max who just said it out of hopelessness? If the father, then why did the father not recognize him and why do they continue to communicate as if the real father and son, this does not seem like a “pretense”? And this whole thing with Max's father is secondary here, the main story is about the company and the flies, and nothing is clear about the father. Who is Max’s father, why did he disappear?
The movie also has questionable humor. About the breasts of this friend of Max, a hint of the platonic relationship of Max and that singer, and there are a few moments of questionable humor, and it is stupid and not funny.
The animation is stupid, too. I don't really like plasticine animation, but I'm good at Nick Par's cartoons or Soviet cartoons like Kuzi's house, but here it's just idiotic, nondescript and repulsive. The characters are made stupidly and unpretentiously.
“Max and His Company” is a meaningless, stupid, plotless, secondary cartoon with a silly plot, inappropriate humor and everything else. Even the title "Max and his company" is not related to the cartoon, because Max is not shown as the owner of the company, and he does not have much friends.
