I visited my aunt a few years ago and found this book on the shelf. All!! I read it all day, immersed in this extraordinary story. This is the most interesting book by Sidney Sheldon.
I also watched nine episodes in one breath. Kate Blackwell is very interesting: to play a dynamic hero, to live all this life on the screen is quite difficult, but the image turned out bright and lively. Playing from a 16-year-old girl to a 90-year-old woman is incredibly challenging, but the actress did brilliantly! She easily embodied a cunning, intelligent woman who built incredible combinations and achieved success in business and personal life.
Tony turned out to be a romantic dreamer, as well as the book.
And how tragic was the moment of the birth of Eve (or in another translation of Eve) and Alexandra! The strongest scene in the movie. This is my favorite story in the book. I was initially confused by the actress, as she doesn’t look like a book image, but I think she made the most exciting part of the saga. And George Mellis is a very attractive and vivid image, as he was in the book. The actor was selected well. I also liked Keith Webster, a plastic surgeon and Eva's husband. The man is quiet and inconspicuous, but he was able to tame the independent and willful Eva and tie her to himself.
The film is very interesting and worth watching!
