Time to throw stones is time to collect stones. Stalin is a fighter for justice, serving the people. And Stalin is the name. It turns out that the name of this person can become a name for another. Yesterday I watched the film "Stalin" 2006, South Indian, and I learned about this film only a week ago, by accident. And apparently, it is generally unknown to the Russian audience, because I read reviews for this film on various resources, and the earliest of them dates from January 12 this year, 2022 (that is, immediately after the New Year holidays it was apparently voiced). The main role is the megastar of Tollywood - Chiranjivi. He's cooler than ever.
After 20 minutes of watching it, I realized I had seen the story. And exactly when the main phrase running through the whole film - If someone has helped you, don’t thank them. Instead of being grateful, help three people if possible, and ask them to help three others. Let the good go on, I remember where I heard that phrase. Exactly a year ago I watched the film Salman Khan"Fearless" (about a super cop named Chulbul Pandey), if I don't confuse anything, then this phrase sounded in this film. I remember being so hooked on this phrase by Salman that I even rewinded it a little bit and turned it on again and wrote it down for myself. And then I set this phrase to my status in Odnoklassniki, it has been there for a year. And I decided to launch it in my life (I don't brag about it), and last year I was able to help five people in a whole year, and in response to their gratitude, I responded with this phrase and asked them to help three people if possible. I don’t know if it worked or not, but sooner or later it should work. Since the beginning of this year, I have already managed to help one person, and I also answered him with this phrase - I continue to pass on the chain of good.
So, when I started watching this movie yesterday, I realized that Salman probably watched it, too, and probably more than once, because there are many very similar episodes taken from this film. And here we have Chiranjivi in the role of major of the Indian army (this is the name, just his father was an ardent communist and of all the world communist leaders very much respected it is Stalin, so decided to call his son so). Stalin is a military hero whose life purpose is to help people, to make the world a better place. The hero is extremely positive, he has no shortcomings at all, only dignity.
The plot is based on the main idea of the film: each must help three people, on the condition that each of them in turn will help three other people. Thus, Stalin hopes to unite people and create a sense of the world in which mutual help will become the norm. Thus, the whole country will be provoked into activism. At times, it doesn’t seem to work and Stalin is bitterly disappointed that people do nothing but make excuses. However, in the background, the movement is slowly gaining momentum. People are often not intentionally bad, they are just lazy and thoughtless. Initially depressed, Stalin was later inspired by a group of disabled children who run the 100m race but stop it to let one of the boys climb and then all finish the race together.
He himself, such a national hero, a hero, restoring justice with a kind word and a fist, bringing terror to bandits, crooks, protecting the poor. I kept waiting for the name of the main negative character performed by Prakash Raj to be something like Trotsky. It is a traditional Indian name.
The film "Stalin" is a simple, sometimes naive, but clearly demonstrates the positive attitude of the Indians to the leader of all peoples, which is very different from the European one. For Indians, Stalin is a symbol of the struggle against colonialism, an attempt to build a more just society. And as it turned out, he is loved in India no less than Mahatma Gandhi.
Naturally, the film has songs, dances, a love line. His beloved was played by Trisha Krishnan. The girl is pretty, but with a rather adult at the time of filming, Chiranjivi looks very young. Young, very thin, of short stature, next to a manly, broad in the shoulders and quite strong, they looked more like a father and daughter than a couple in love.
Charada is great in the role of a widowed mother who raised children alone. She is desperately proud of Stalin, and at the same time rejects her eldest daughter, Jansi, who married a Sikh against her mother’s will. Some of her scenes are a chic comedy, as she plots with a cunning priest (Brahmanandam) to marry any beautiful girl. After all, her son is a hero, and the hero certainly needs a beautiful wife, this is the main criterion for his mother. Other qualities of a girl are not important in principle.
Mukesh Rishi and Brahmaji are the army comrades Stalin who come at the right moment to help save him. Harsha Vardhan and Sunil are the main comedic friends Stalin. They looked good in their roles.
It's not really a family movie, because it's both violent and violent, but it's not as simple as a lot of mainstream movies, because it's for the good of society. The story ends on a high note. And I think fans of Chiranjivi should look at him in this role, he is still completely in control of his body, in great physical shape, with his famous charisma. Now this film has been voiced, and you can watch it with pleasure. Chiru as cool and chic as Salman in "Fearless", only one army officer and the other policeman. But both are fighting for the well-being of society, only the sunglasses hanging behind the back on the collar of the shirt were missing. It's almost one-on-one. You can watch it, I recommend it.
