Nice, a little funny, but something's missing. The official annotation is intriguing and attractive. The viewer expects something exciting, exciting, perhaps dramatic (still a situation when the mother tries to start a new life for the family, without crimes and in accordance with the law, quite well pulls on the psychological, given that the family is against), and of course various crimes or scams with a mandatory charm in this case. Perhaps slightly in Bondovsky, Arsen-Lupenovsky, Oceanovsky, etc. style.
Alas. There is no charm, at least not yet.
I’ve seen 4 episodes and I’ll stop there. It doesn't attract any more.
There are psychological moments, but there is no drama or depth. It's too mundane and simple. Conflicts are small, many heroes are not far away, crimes are stupid and simple. Like the death of some characters. For four episodes, nothing with charm happened, although a few moments just could be used. It is a pity, but there was not enough beauty to act.
Well and well, the main character and worried mother and wife is played by Virginia Madsen. Good, but no more. The remaining heroes in the overwhelming majority play 3-4 points on a five-point system. Whether the roles are not worked out by the scriptwriters, or personal charm or skill is lacking, but it all looks weak.
The only actress that was interesting to follow was Vanessa Marano and her role as Hope West. The youngest daughter with the highest IQ of all. And the role is interesting in general, most likely due to the play of the actress. She believes in her and she knows how to interest the viewer. I can give her 4++. But even she couldn’t stop me, because I’m sorry for the time.
If I had the opportunity to watch all the other series of the series in a summary (maximum in an hour), I would. And that, only to find out what the finale was prepared by the writers and what else interesting came up with Hope.
The work of the writers and director - for three.
In general, I can give you a few points.
