This film is billed as a comedy, but let me classify it as a genre according to my personal impressions after watching it. I don’t know what should make you laugh or even smile. This is definitely a drama, and with not the most pleasant heroines, whom you do not really sympathize with.
The story of two girlfriends living an average life in a typical house in the suburbs of Paris is not inspiring, instructive or even warning. To be honest, I didn’t really understand what the director wanted to say, or rather two.
If you look at the film as a story about teenage girls (although they’re not 15 anymore and both of them are working) then it’s not going anywhere. All their antics, sometimes strange, sometimes even disgusting, can be attributed to teenage stupidity. But when you see adult women lying about their financial and social situation, offending the closest people - it's not a bit funny, it's sad and extremely unpleasant.
What was interesting here was to look at the ordinary life of ordinary French people living in high-rise buildings. And they live well, judging by the interiors and repairs. But the girls wanted luxury... In principle, a lot of people want this, it's just that these desires are not close to me, perhaps that's why I'm not particularly imbued with history.
There were times when I thought about what a good movie was. And as soon as these thoughts appeared, so one of the heroines produced such absurdity that these thoughts immediately ran away and away. I don’t know... I can’t recommend this picture, but I can’t recommend it either. There was a lot of curiosity here. So... Love France, it is interesting to see how people live, you want, perhaps, to remember your stupid youth - a pleasant viewing.
