The old and the new love Before our attention is a very kind and touching film by the director and screenwriter Thomas Bezuc "The Great Paradise". The film turned out to be a warm and life-affirming film. She looks with a smile and in a pleasant atmosphere created by the creators of this film. To be honest, the movie liked and looked in one breath. Two hours of viewing flew by quickly, and the movie left behind a pleasant impression.
This is the story of the charismatic Henry. He is a gay artist and works in New York. When he has to visit his ailing grandfather in the province of Great Paradise, Henry encounters his old love of youth, Dean. Long-forgotten feelings flare up again, but Dean gives, as he gave only a hint of sympathy, he is the father of the family. While Henry understands the shadows of the past, fate presents him with a new acquaintance in the person of the Indian Pike, who prepares food for Grandpa Henry and immediately falls in love with a city guest.
This film brings with it some warmth and something heartfelt. His story reveals something that is not visible, and that is the most important thing in people’s lives. Heroes were good, kind people, and everyone has their own destiny. Henry’s fate gave nothing for many years, then immediately presented an unexpected choice in the face of two men. The choice was his, and the hero had to decide what he wanted and felt. Amused by the attentive and warm attitude of the people of Paradise. They all cared about Pike's feelings and matched Henry all the time. It was unusual. I couldn't believe it could be.
The main roles in the film were played by such actors as Ari Gross and Eric Schweig. It is with the hero Ari Gross that the viewer follows this story, but the character of the Indian Eric Schweig was the soul of this film and something most touching. Tim DK played Dean, and his character was, as a way of temptation for the main character, something unrealistic, illusory and unnecessary. Love with the main character was very close. I just had to see her. In the female role of a pleasant woman, the American actress Louise Fletcher lit up. She captivated me with her role as a nurse's bitch in the cult film "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", so it is always nice to see her in other films.
Big Paradise is an American gay-themed melodrama from 2000. The film is touching and light, but at the same time deep and vital, the picture is true and shown with a good, far-sighted look of the director. This film is about love, about life, about family values, kindness and something very important. I liked this movie and I appreciate it. Thank you.
