A man is a friend to a dog A story for those who love dogs and those who did not love them in the first place.
In this animated film, which is a story on behalf of the author and the main character, tells about the relationship of an already quite elderly man, a writer, and a dog, the first and only one in his life. At first, it may seem that the owner does not love his pet, treats it down, but gradually become clear his true feelings. He genuinely cares about her, sometimes putting her feelings and needs above his own. As a result, in the face (or, more correctly, muzzle) Tulip Eckerley found the most faithful friend, whose features he unsuccessfully tried to find in many people all his life, but could not find the ideal.
It is rather strange to listen throughout the cartoon to Ackerley’s reflections on the physiological needs and natural components of his pet’s life, on the structure of her body, on the situations in which they fall together, and also on how he tried for quite a long time to happen to her with dogs. But in general, all the voiced thoughts of the writer can be perceived as philosophical, with a touch of sarcasm and humor. Besides the story itself, the pencil sketches are quite amusing.
Undoubtedly, the cartoon is intended for adults, and children of middle school age and older - younger ones simply will not understand, they will be bored and much is not clear.
A touching story about the relationship between man and dog, about affection, upbringing, trust and tolerance.
