Isabelle Huppert Isabelle Huppert is one of my favorite French actresses, so I enjoyed watching this documentary directed by Serge Toubian. Hupper is an extremely strong and worthwhile dramatic actress who always plays deep and complex, sometimes contradictory roles perfectly and very talentedly, so she will always be a European talent for me, able to instantly reincarnate in any role. I watched a lot of movies with her, and each of my characters Hupper always plays casually and believably, as if living the role of his character and feel it one hundred percent. I always like to watch Isabelle play various difficult emotional situations in movies. She is truly a man of her craft, and Hupper is without doubt one of the strongest and best dramatic actresses in world cinema. Give her the hardest part and she'll play it great.
Isabelle Huppert (une vie pour jouer) is a French documentary film that reveals the behind-the-scenes life of a talented French actress. In this fifty-two-minute film, we see moments from her childhood, her interviews and a few behind-the-scenes scenes that are always off-screen. We see how the filming of The Pianist took place, and what the actress herself says about her role and the film. We also see what happens on the set during the film “Thank you for the chocolate” and the theater production “Medea”.
I was interested in watching this documentary and seeing something I hadn’t seen before, and it was a pleasure to watch Hupper behind-the-scenes in her daily life as she prepares for the role and see her at conferences dedicated to her films. This documentary is shot in an original way and feels the cold atmosphere of the French director, and we see how believably he showed us everything that happens in Huppert’s life as she prepares and teaches her new role. Isabelle Huppert is an amazing actress that I love, and I think that all those who like films with her participation and she herself should see this documentary, because it is made purely in the style of this actress and well represents who she is, and there she is a real, strong actress who was born to play.
