Something fell off the shelf. I was interested in this movie, of course. I thought it would be a sequel or a remake. It turned out to be a remake, but not “Stuffed”, but “The Moth Game”. I saw the first Moths with Chadov and Akinshina back in 2004, the plot has already escaped my mind, I only remember that I did not like it. The same picture refused to be born for a long time. In terms of long-term construction, it is probably second only to Vii and Zenit Arena. In “Komsomolka” frightened that the film risks to remain “on the shelf” due to the fact that our zombies recognized it as an informal (this word sounds strange in relation to television films, or, for example, to art-house cinema, which is also sometimes awarded a place on TV). In the end, it was released on DVD, but it came to my attention only two years later (I probably lost faith in it).
The first series of the film (and there are 4 of them, as usual in Russian TV films) took it with difficulty - he fell asleep, not reaching the end of five minutes. The second episode looked the next evening and began to learn familiar motifs from the first Moth Games. From the second time the film drew into the atmosphere and then began to look easier. The main character in the brilliant debut performance of Lisa Biryukova as if, taking me by the hand, took me along the entire storyline of the film and explained what was there and how. The film surprisingly repeated my feelings after watching Bykov’s “Stuffed”. Despite having nothing in common (except the nickname and type of the main character) with Bykov’s film, the creators of “Stuffed 2” managed to convey the atmosphere of childish naivety surrounded by composure and indifference. These “Moth Games” seemed more convincing to me than their relative from 2003, thanks, again, to the atmosphere and acting of children – truly children, not 18-year-old Akinshina and 23-year-old Chadov.
