“I would tell them I hope they get kinder.” The film does not teach, no, it is frightening, frightening not physically, but morally. It's hard for me to imagine being a hostage forced to rob a bank. But as a human being, the whole film was about Michelle and her daughter. It doesn’t matter what happened to Michelle Esty in the past, it matters how much she changed herself. Mother love is something on the verge of fiction, because in my opinion, love is never stronger.
Julie said in court, “I would rather die than see what my daughter went through.” This is the most difficult thing to see any misfortunes that concern close relatives. Good on the jury, I believed in them until the last moment.
Natasha Kalis played a wonderful child, understanding, intelligent, attentive and most importantly loving. I closed my eyes to the fact that the mother goes on dates, and this is known to be very difficult for the child, to the fact that she returns late. As the heroine of the film, Bria is a wonderful child. She is scared, but she does not want to hurt her abusers. Even a small child, without life experience, understands that evil can not respond to evil.
And of course, the phrase “Based on real events” makes the whole film tense.
