I read a review of this film for a long time and still did not dare to watch. The review was positive and it talked about the film as if this picture is the most violent that ever came out on screens; of course, I was interested, but for some reason I threw the film in a long box and for good reason.
Based on the review, my expectations for the film were high, but once again practice shows that you never need to listen to the opinions of others, so as not to spoil your impression.
The film tells the story of twin brothers who have a telepathic connection that causes other people to commit suicide, playing on their feelings or touching personal, and thereby leaving the brothers unpunished. Interesting idea, but unfortunately weak execution.
In fact, the first forty minutes of the film are trying to convey the main idea of the film to the viewer, that is, to tell about the brothers and what happens to them, or rather to explain the motive for their actions, why they do it and what everything is behind it. I think it's a thrust. It's a very long, let's say, "preface."
A lot can be said about acting and actors in general. The main roles of the twin brothers were performed by actors Edmund and Gary Entin. Jonna and Seth have been together since childhood and since birth, inexplicable things have happened around them that have thrown their parents into fear and silence. Accordingly, one of the twins dominated the other and was more vulnerable to the “betrayal” of his brother.
There is one main plot line and two others; the brothers try to find and feel a sense of fear, the cause of their crimes; the detective, who understands the series of these crimes, tries to cope with the loss of his wife; and, of course, the girl, because of which there is a tipping point in the bond of the brothers. All these storylines smoothly intertwine into the final picture.
The atmosphere of the film is similar to the youth series, where the main part takes place in schools. Quite gloomy, with its own twist, the film, but boring and does not keep in suspense at all. I didn’t really like the mix of thriller and mysticism, there were moments after which you think that the most interesting thing began, but it’s not. The events of the film develop gradually, without emotional outbursts.
I was pleased with the work of the operator and the fact that the final of the film is closed, you do not need to think about what will happen next, what happened and the like, a clear and logical end.

We're twins, we split everything in half. What is mine is mine and what is mine is mine.
Perhaps that was the main motto of this picture.
I have always held the view that twins should never be taught the same things from birth, from appearance to field of activity and interests. And in this movie, I just strengthened my mind. This is a big mistake!
Twins Jonna and Seth from childhood were the same and this in the future ruined them. After all, as it happens, one of the twins will necessarily be morally stronger than the other and this will suppress him and bend under himself. And these twins, plus everything, had the gift of telepathy, which by nature, I think, is one of the most powerful abilities, they could impress people with anything they wanted, profitable and convenient, or rather one of the twins, and the second just listened and did what he was told. Another feature of these guys was that they have never experienced a sense of fear in their lives, it seems that this is bad, you are never afraid and you are not afraid of anything and in fact you should be happy that you, in principle, can not be scared, but the twins were not satisfied and more angry, so in order to experience this “miraculous” feeling, they tortured and tortured (killed) everything living that was next to them, recording it on a video camera.
I loved the film, the cast and their performance. Despite the small experience of the guys in this field, they played with dignity and very believable. The plot obliges good praise, few people succeed, take an interesting idea as a basis and reveal it competently, interesting and intriguing, Antonio Negret succeeded.
This film is on my personal list of films worth watching. the film, I am sure, will not leave you indifferent! And giving it only 1: 30 of your time, you will not lose anything.

I have seen a lot of horror movies. Totally different. Since a small part of the films of this genre was not impressed, I stumbled upon this one by chance. "Twin Killers." I really liked the story and the poster itself lured.
I had watched Funny Games before and there were similar guys who also liked to play. But that's not the point. The film impressed me very much.
In the beginning, we are shown how four teenagers committed suicide. It can already be seen that the film was shot in a kind of Gothic atmosphere and blue color scheme. Detective Lampkin is investigating this case. Further suicides also continue. The charges fall on the two twins. And the detective manages to solve everything absolutely quickly and follow the right tracks.
The acting was great. Oh, those twins! When I saw them in the beginning, I felt a sense of joy and pleasure in watching the film. Absolutely enjoyed it.
The piano, the atmosphere, the melody, even the murders themselves were not so cruel, for it was immediately clear that there would certainly be no meat grinder in this film.
There was even a place for love, as well as manifestations of many emotions. The twin killers are two brothers who were insensitive to the murders. They were looking for feelings. And they got them.
After all, they absolutely do everything together all their lives, can at least one live without the help of another? Apparently not. They are together; they are one and the same.
The ending really hooked me. I was hoping, though, for the other end. But the sediment after the film remained and even very good, but at the same time sad.
I recommend this film to those who love such psychological thrillers and a connoisseur of this genre. There are no moments like sudden jumps on camera screaming, etc. Everything is very balanced and harmonious. Good to see you.
Do you know how much I love you?
- That's it.
A lot more...
“Twin Killers” is perhaps the only film worth seeing in the framework of the festival of night movies “After Dark”. A brief description of this and short: it is necessary to attract the viewer. But this is not just a meaningless meat grinder, unsupported by the emotions and feelings of the characters, which, it would seem, follows from the description.
It's a high-moral movie. It sounds a little exaggerated, but if not moral, then filled with various experiences, intricacies, conflict situations.
Its meaning is difficult to understand, for some it is completely incomprehensible. For example, I still do not understand why they pursued their goal. Is it just to experience this feeling of fear? Only guesses and assumptions remain. This is also a good movie.
Unlike the “Production” of Aafter Darkovo production, this film does not dwell under a beer, fish and the company of friends who love unrestrained fun.
It should be watched alone, imbued with the idea of the director and screenwriter.
Be prepared that you will not be waiting for a bloody bacchanalia, organized by closed-minded guys-invisible. On the other hand, it's far from "Carrie." Sometimes the twins behave quite loosely.
It's something in between, it's something new. And new in the cinema today is so rare.
Again, I would like to add that the plot is unpredictable, the outcome is ambiguous. After: there is a huge positive impression of the film, although there was no such feeling during the viewing.
The only thing that is a little not happy is that the film is stuffed with unnecessary events, for example, the unsolved story of the detective’s wife. Why did she go blind, why was there a fire, why did she go blind or burn up, why does the detective go back to his past, what kind of machine is he lying in? Lol, that's not a complete list of questions. It is understandable to catch up with a little fear with frightening sharp moments. Cut them out and leave just the story of the characters' complex relationships. There is no need for expensive special effects. But I am glad that the topic was disclosed and at the same time not completely. As I mentioned above, there is still room for reflection.
The mystery of twins has always been a mystery to people. They have an invisible connection between them. And these are not fairy tales, many even talk about it as something mystical.
Let’s talk about the twins in the movie. Not only are they mirror-like, but they also comb the same hair, dress the same and have the same interests and tastes. One reflection of the other. Just try to figure out who reflects whom. After all, there is always a leader and someone who follows, that is the meaning of the film.
From the title and the trailer, I thought it would be disgusting to watch. Although a note of this feeling is present, but the faces of actors Edmund and Gary Entin inspire some calmness with simultaneous fear, as it does not sound paradoxical.
In general, the film is good, I recommend it for viewing (and you will not often meet such cute twins).
Something prevents me to put a ten, but I do not see any special disadvantages in the film.

Yes, let the twins have one blood in their veins, but that doesn’t mean they have to live one life for two. To many, this film seemed like another pointless bloody mess, but I heard the same scream that Antonio Negret and Georg Richards gave their future viewer. This scream pierces every part of my mind, and I realize that the problem is much deeper than one in three sees it.
The eternal problem that we live by someone else’s opinion and under someone else’s influence affected the frames of this film. Two brothers, especially not just two native creatures, but two lives, whose distance to the start of the race is 93 seconds. And it was those 93 seconds that made up the hallmarks of those very lives. Two brothers of the young man, identical from the face, appeared mind-blowing, breathless, carrying fear and a sense of lostness, but this is how we see them in the beginning and to the middle of the story. In their eyes there is no light, in their hearts there is a deep indifference, and it seems as if nothing can change - people do not change by 180 degrees. But only the first tender feeling, the first accelerated heartbeat - and you have already forgotten: ' Who am I the former?' Instead of the chilling look of Seth, a pleasant young man appears on the screens, a real gentleman and just a man whose consciousness and worldview are completely confused. Seth wants to see his reflection in the mirror, not Jono Seth, as people around him used to see him, and as he saw himself all these years. Contrary to John’s domineering nature, Seth tries to escape from the past, but the thin threads continue to hold him just before leaving the black tunnel. This storyline left some residue in my mind, now there will be something to think about before going to bed, and once again ask yourself: ' Who am I really? '.
As for the minor heroes, they are only pawns in the game ' Killer children' and the solution to their existence will be quite unexpected and interesting.
Special attention to special effects, soundtracks and the created atmosphere:
Every note, especially the "Moonlight Sonata" 39, corresponds to the events and emphasizes all the tragedy, hopelessness and alienation of the heroes;
I liked the tones in which the film was shot, although I am not a fan of blue and green shooting; the color scheme pleases the eye.
If you once again lost yourself in a clot of gray mass, where there is no concept ' I', ' you, or ' he, she' and it sounds insistent ' we' I would not refuse to view ' twin killers' where this topic will turn the consciousness of anyone.
