What a strange series. I think all his shortcomings are due to his weight. Inhumanly beautiful drawing of backgrounds, excellent study of animation, it is clear that a lot of money was invested in the series. But that's what ruins him. Probably, there are chic TV shows where a large number of writers and directors is only good, but I can not immediately remember. In good projects, there is always only one creator, one person who sees in his imagination the finished product.
It's a very good anime, one of the best I've seen in my life, but... But. I’ll probably compare any anime to Pandora’s Heart 39, which is 100 out of 100 for me. And I understand that animation is cheaper, there are too many fights, but there I can trace the feelings of each character, feel their emotions. Here, when trying to analyze the feelings of the characters, I too often come up with the phrase ' just the producers wanted so'.
The first series are very good. They're atmospheric. Even murder scenes, shown without much detail and without any monsters, are frightening. But then the director changes (after all, people believe that the larger the team of filmmakers, the better), and the characters of the characters are simplified, reduced to masks of tsundere and slave. And I find myself in a cheap haremnik of the '80s, which was written as a bonus on a videotape after cool movies.
Mysteries are gradually simplified. If I solved the mystery of a locked room murder, and I was proud of myself, then when the mystery of the doppelgangers set in, I experienced a fierce kringe, because it was not really a mystery.
I also have big complaints about the main story. So, there is a certain Victoria, the illegitimate daughter of the Count de Blois, almost a genius detective. What you didn't read is that the girl spent her whole life locked up. Okay, let's leave the question of how she can so perfectly unravel matters, when for the first time in the city she does not know a lot of important household trifles, we blame it on artistic convention. But the second question is, why won't she escape? She runs away from time to time to unravel a case, so why not escape completely, leave the county and start a new life at large? Why wouldn’t her mother, who is connected to the criminals (and this is also mentioned in the beginning) kidnap her? For supposedly intelligent people, everyone does too many stupid things.
I also have a complaint about the detective line. It is clear that ' Gosik' was the inspiration for ' Vatican Wonder Inspectors' but that series did not deny the possibility of miracles. Yes, an unexplained phenomenon can be a trick, but it can also be a miracle. In ' Gosike' persistently trying to explain everything rationally, and all who believe in occultism - bayaki, patamushta. And this reduces interest in puzzles, which are already gradually becoming easier.
' Gosik' are like fake Christmas toys that can only be identified because they don't please. But ' Gosik' good that lies outside the realm of experience. ' Gosik' is a thing that's made for fan fiction. The main plot is also fan fiction, but it is fan fiction of the middle hand. If this story was written on the site, and not filmed, you would hardly put him likes. But this setting is beautiful. Sabir County is somewhere in Europe, similar to Vienna before World War I. A belief in magic and superstition. Secret societies. The huge tower of the Academy.
This is a world that you want to see, that you want to develop. But not through these characters. Remember, all of a sudden you're involved in filmmaking, a lot of writers, directors, it kills sincerity. Most people do not have a shadow of creativity, they are enough cardboard clichés. I write this review, and on the second screen comes the ending 'Gosica'. The girl throws the bottle into the sea, the sea brings the bottle back and the girl makes such a disgusting, comical cry of indignation that all the possible feelings that this scene could cause me turn around and go back to the depths of my heart.
I hope the novels are different. That there's a reason why Victoria doesn't want to escape. That she is not just a self-assured tsundere who is able to do everything & #39; that she is a real teenager who fears the real world more than her own fearsome father, that only friendship with Kujo can support her, inspire reality with faith in herself, and not stupid demonstrative self-confidence. That the feelings of all the characters are paid attention. That ' New Time' which is so thickly hinted at at the end, really must be a contrast with the past, and therefore the books are filled with the sorcery that the series lacked.
Do not oversimplify other people’s works if they fall into your hands. Be sincere. When you create something, be sincere. A work of art is never a lie, a good work is always the truth. Be sincere. Then you will be able to enjoy the same sincere works. And then from everything that is true in reality.
Only when I got acquainted with Gothic, I thought that I was watching another middle peasant with a gothic loli and a dull OJash, but climbing like a spiral staircase, the plot all twisted, the romantic intensity grew, the raging wind separated our heroes, and the flames of war forced them to grow up. And then all doubts about the quality of this anime go to the background.
Let's start. First of all, I especially want to note the work of the scriptwriters, who clearly tried to collect fragments of various works together, here you and the tsun-dere Sherlock Holmes, and the tales of the Grimm brothers (the golden-haired girl in the tower, gray wolves, witches and sorcerers) create a gothic-mystical mood. Although at the same time a rabbit and a beautiful monster, a clear allusion to Alice in Wonderland, give a ray of hope for happiness in the fog of despair and sorrow. That’s how the mood of the series jumps, then dipping us headlong into the detective stories of Holmes’ time, then into the romance of two as yet ungrown companion friends in the investigation of complicated crimes.
Directorial work is also on top! Where it is necessary to end the saddest set, action will add (and it is enough there: there will be fights, and shooting, and chases), the style of frames will change and wrap everything in candy. Yes, as usual, a lot depends on the director and, in my opinion, the directorial team coped with the task set for her. Home arigato for them.
With the music is also all right, opening (which I rarely listen to several times) here is just great, and endings fall into the theme.
Drawing is simply pleasing to the eye, all the attributes of the 20s of the XXth century in Gothic are perfectly reflected. Trains, clothes, buildings like from history books, which undoubtedly helps to penetrate the atmosphere of anime and feel the period between the two world wars. Every now and then, real photos of the First World War only increase this effect.
In general, this is one of those few anime in which the main characters are not just scattered with pathetic speeches, but really grow up, a series from the series, gradually opening their hearts and souls to both the viewer and each other. So in the epilogue in front of us is not a gray wolf and a gentle squirrel, but a brave young man and a persistent girl who has seen not a little of their own and others' grief.
About this anime you can write for quite a long time, and watch in one breath. All those who have seen it I think will understand, and those who have not yet I hope to appreciate Gothic. In any case, I recommend watching Gothic to anyone who is even slightly fond of anime or watches it periodically, you definitely will not waste time!
I bet:
Great plot, mind-blowing characters, wonderful soundtracks - everything in "Gosick" turned out to be extremely good.
In fact, the value of this anime lies in the history of Kazuya and Victoria.
After his transfer to the academy, when Kazue was given a specific nickname - "dark reaper who comes in spring", he somehow climbed to a huge library, where he met a girl like a doll - marble skin, large eyes, long blonde hair and an elegant lush dress, everywhere covered with frills and ruffles.
So began a touching story about friendship and love.
Kazuya got involved in different stories, and Victoria always helped him, uncovered many secrets and mysteries. At the same time, Kazuya always defended the “golden fairy”, no matter what happened, he always found her and rescued her wherever she was.
In general, Victoria and Kazuya feared losing each other more than anything else.
The storm wind will destroy everything. In many, many years he will separate you.
Even when they were separated, in spite of everything, they continued to live in each other's hearts, and sooner or later reunited again. Days, weeks and months passed, it seemed that hope had already been lost and only hopelessness remained, which brought terrible thoughts that had once almost come true. A miracle happened and they saved each other. Whether it was a storm or World War II, nothing could separate them.
A lot of death, blood, tears - all this made even the most impenetrable viewer shudder. Of course, there were also fun moments. It is impossible not to smile when Kazuya brought Victoria candy and gave various gifts from which she was delighted, although she did not show it.
Hmm. It smells like candy.
- Yes, it is.
- It looks like dog poop!
I advise everyone, regardless of gender or age, to watch this anime. Perhaps the best mix of detective, drama and comedy. You can't find the second one.
A cloud of pathos, appropriate and inappropriate. Children's riddles, over which lovers of something a little smart will burn at the top of their voice. Lots of bows and neat tin. Friendship, tricks and a pinch of politics.
Childhood anime, far from genius. But at the same time, what is done on conscience is very well thought out and drawn, to the end withstanding its unusual style. Thanks to its Gothic and elaborate plot, thanks to interesting characters still - it looked quite interesting. Nothing particularly new or particularly dramatic, but still very beautiful, cozy and sometimes curious. A beautiful garden, a large library, occultism against science, a mysterious alchemist, palace secrets, an ancient monastery and an ancient family of rulers - all this catches. Thanks to this, you close your eyes to all these ridiculous “sources of wisdom”, bows, dullness and inhibition of everyone except the main character and repeated pathetic utterances. Although yes, it was infuriating when light childhood riddles all the characters solved a damn lot of time showing the wonders of congenital degeneracy, and then the main character, throwing 15 minutes of pathos finally explained what was already clear.
In general, for once it came down, even spit almost did not have to.
Only a few anime/films/series can touch on life and make me cry. I remember watching Angel Rhythms, where at the end I cried like a little girl.
And this time, starting to watch anime, I was just sure that this funny, slightly detective cartoon, will cheer me up and help pass the leisure. I am not indifferent to selfish little girls. Maybe it’s because I see a part of myself.
But Gosik is not such an anime at all, it is much deeper than it seems at first glance. This is not just a story about a little girl who does not know feelings of pity, as well as feelings of tact and politeness, and who unravels any puzzles with the help of a “source of wisdom”.
No.
This is a story about how true friendship can be, how strong and different love can be, how strong the feeling for another person can be. It’s a story about the perfect brave little boys who are ready to protect their lady to the end, about vulnerable monsters who, despite all their arrogance, can sincerely and loyally love, about good people who often hide their true identity under the mask of cold pride. About the cruelty of the fallen and about the greatness of the aspiration forward, small people who can decide their own fate, whatever it costs them.
This is a beautiful story that deserves attention.
You are my soul that has separated from me. Mommy.
Kazuya Kujo once accidentally stumbled upon a doll in the school library in human growth, or maybe it was a golden-haired fairy? What happened and where, who is guilty, who is harmless.
But it turned out to be a little girl. Golden hair up to the floor, a black dress and a very sharp mind. Her name is Victoria de Blois.
They are very different: light and darkness, fire and ice. But opposites attract!
Victoria de Blois: a small genius in a tiny girl's body. She looks deep into the souls of people, and sees the truth of the lost mystery. Sherlock Holmes at the time. A little bad girl who loves sweets can change the whole world.
Her faithful "servant" Kazuya Kujo: The third son of a soldier of the Imperial army, although he is not the youngest of courage. This boy, nicknamed “The Black Reaper Who Comes in Spring,” will meet the mysteries of the past, the most secret. He will always get into trouble, of course not by his will.
The Black Reaper and the Golden-haired Fairy, what could come of it? New school history? Or maybe it's more complicated? What about revolution? victory? defeat? or war?
Alchemy, royalty, death, murderers, sunken ships, substitutions, old secrets – all this they will have to overcome, learn the truth, lay down all the shards of wisdom and free the innocent from the heavy shackles of injustice.
You will see this for yourself in watching this series. Each series surprises more and more! History can change in an instant! You will not be bored!
Cookies, seagulls will help brighten the impression of the series!
"Gosick" in translation "Gothic" is a successful without exaggeration anime series with an age rating of R - 17+. This means that there will not be much pathos and snot here. This series is more mature than the average teenage anime title.
The series takes place in 1924 in a small, fictional country. The Principality of Soville is neatly located somewhere near the Alps. Setting in this world is an alternative variant of Europe of the 20s. The focus is on the son of a noble family of hereditary military - Japanese boy Kazuya Kujo. An exchange student at St. Margaret's Academy. The Academy is considered prestigious, it teaches offspring of local nobility. However, our hero is not particularly loved because of his appearance, as well as his hobbies. As a result, a black-eyed boy prone to mysticism and superstitions gets the nickname “black reaper” and quickly becomes not a particularly popular personality in the academy. Walking on the territory of the Academy one day goes to the local library - a huge tower, where he meets an unusual girl with golden hair dressed in a Gothic costume. The girl is actually imprisoned in the tower and does not attend classes. All she has to do is read books and help solve crimes that even the most venerable detectives cannot cope with. By the will of fate, Kazuya Kujo and Victoria quickly get along and become attached to each other, not even knowing what adventures they will go through together.
It is a pleasure to write a review of a quality work. This anime is an indicator that even from the most popular images, and therefore the already boring characters of tsundare and OYash, you can make interesting characters and please the spoiled viewer. What is the attraction of our heroes? First, the depth of character of the characters is pleasantly surprising. In each subsequent series, the characters are able to present something new from their individuality to their viewer. It is nice to surprise you with a small comedy that can arise from virtually any situation and dialogue or, on the contrary, impress with its story from the past. Moreover, our heroes retain their charming freshness throughout the series. Secondly, Victoria herself is a very entertaining girl and it is pleasant to look at her. However, she does not overdose from cavaia and moe. Therefore, its attractiveness is not built on artificial soil as often happens with tsundare characters especially in ethti TV series.
Victoria attracts its attention due to creative thinking and a well-developed image in general. As a result, an interesting and attractive person is born from these components, despite the fact that she develops as a person on the basis of the tsundare image. The same can be said about our main character. Maybe Kazuya Kujo and resembles an ordinary Japanese schoolboy, and more precisely, even the perfect guy is also quite a popular image in anime series. But this is not another stamp-coon from a second-rate project. For starters, Kazuya is not a rag and can stand up for herself without getting lost even in an emergency. Secondly, he is not concerned and does not comprehend vulgar thoughts. Rather, on the contrary, a guy well brought up from a noble family. Therefore, he has a sound idea of the opposite field. This combination opens and shows for the viewer a very nice clean and touching - romantic background. That again in modern anime is not so common.
The drawing in the series is delightful, especially when viewed in blu-ray format. In this case, you can simply enjoy colorful landscapes from snowy alpine beauty to the countryside and industrial cities of 1924. Moreover, the second background has been worked out in detail and the saturation with all sorts of trifles only more please the viewer’s eye as a result of the picture it is very difficult to break away from it. It is worth noting the excellent design of the costumes of the characters. Competent style of their outfits creates only an even more colorful image of the character. The musical component is less impressive. The soundtrack in the series itself is good and does not cause complaints. But the opening and ending somehow do not correspond to the status of the series. Maybe the songs are pleasant to hear, but rather quickly get bored because of their simplicity.
The genre essence of the work is multifaceted. There is mysticism, romance and adventure, as well as drama and a bit of comedy. More importantly, the original genre detective value of the work is preserved. Perhaps there are no detective investigations as in the famous books of the English writer Agatha Christie. After all, Victoria should read the newspapers or just listen to a witness, and she can solve virtually any crime of medium complexity. Of course, this is not a serious detective, and Gosick is by no means a match for outstanding detective books or movies. Because this work is from the world of Japanese anime, but in this environment "Gosick" is already a worthy representative of the detective movement. After all, this is a fascinating, bright, beautiful, and therefore an entertaining anime combining many genres, and not a harsh and purely detective art series.
However, it should be noted that the rating of our work R is 17+. This means that bloody murders and elements of mysticism are included, and therefore dramatic and even tragic moments also take place. This series does not contain much pathos and the action takes place after the First World War. Don’t say too much – the era for anime is a bit exotic. Therefore, the atmospheric background of the series is original.
Despite the drama and blood, Gosick is a light and beautiful creation. Just a quality work oriented more to involve your viewer in your rich world and entertain as it should. The viewer will not really miss the screen. Anyway, I watched with great interest. This is just a mature and independent fairy tale for an adult viewer. You can advise the work to any viewer who loves high-quality anime.
Negotic detective Mid-20 years of the last century (XX century). A fictional Central European state reminiscent of Switzerland. A private school where foreigners have not been admitted until recently. A strange Asian and a hermit living in a library. What could be more exotic to the Japanese eye? Is it possible that this golden-haired child, Victoria, calls herself a grey wolf and constantly consults a local police officer and solves all kinds of crimes? He's also a nice sucker. Anime Gosick is already considered to be cult, but on the one hand, so characteristic of most anime mysticism (the same story with a wolf and the Ministry of Occultism I was not quite up to the teeth), on the other hand, a rather pleasant (although not sufficiently gloomy) drawing and do not really need to think. But, if you are looking for anime detective, then you should not watch Gothic, as well as in the case of searching for Gothic. And neither of them in the creation of Hitashi Nomba is observed. 8 out of 10 Original
