We're all crooks! Lucio Fulci often invited the famous comic duo Franco-Ciccio to his set. Of course, the genre of these films is the same - comedy - but the background is different. This is peplum, and melodrama, and action movie. In "Operation Moon" this background was fantastic. On such a “space canvas” Fulci painted a beautiful work that can be appreciated by either an Italian or a Russian, because a good half of the film is an unimaginable play of Russian words against the background of “untranslatable Italian folklore”!
To say that the movie is funny is to say almost nothing. In this tape very successfully merged "physiognomic arts" Franco and Ciccio and a really interesting plot, which the Italians are so “fresh with humor” that you are amazed. Literally, each scene is remembered if not the curve of Franco and Ciccio, then their lines:" - He's looking for a pulse. - I didn't take it! - I'm already here. - Where am I?.." or "Russians call their women balalaika - Then I'll take a brunette balalaika! There is nothing offensive in such remarks, as in the grotesque depiction of “Russian reality”. (One space minister in the post of lieutenant of what is worth!)
The finale was a success in every way (like most of the films I watched with Franco Franchi and Ciccio Ingrassia). Each time there is a kind of “highlight”, which for a long time does not allow you to forget such a scene. In the "Moon" such an episode was the dance of one of the wives of real cosmonauts - an incredible combination of "Castile expression" and Russian bloated "rings".
