Angel. A masterpiece. Moreover, the word “masterpiece” can and should be attributed not only to the film itself and its technical characteristics, such as the work of the operator or the soundtrack, but also to the actor himself (as far as appearance is concerned) and to his (and not only his) play. I just finished my review and I am impressed.
I was incredibly pleased with the lack of even a slight hint of vulgarity in the film, not to mention the very bed scenes that abound in today's cinema. In addition, it is very nice to see what happens in life, but remains behind the closed doors of most families. After all, no matter what anyone says, but because of the “wrong” orientation of children, some really kick out of the house, moreover, I personally know such people. On the other hand, the banishment scene in the film is a florets compared to reality.
Also, a huge plus of the film should be put for the fact that the gay theme itself is not in the first place in it. Same-sex relationships are portrayed as something completely natural. And it's catchy. Replace a boy in your imagination with a girl where you think you need to do it and nothing will change. The love story itself is only part of the film. Knowledge and acceptance of oneself, life and death, the relationship of fathers and children – all this is closely intertwined in the picture.
The events in the film are a fairy tale. At least for Russia. Whether something like this could happen somewhere outside of it is difficult to say. But we need movies like that. He who seeks them will find them without doubt.
