The last season of the series is simply unclear why was filmed and dullly sucked out of the finger.
It all started quite well (meaning the first season and then) and over time, even as it was already familiar to some deliberately invented situations in which the main characters fell.
And then... Most of all began to irritate Edik - a man, excuse me, for one place, the fifth decade, and he plays Casanova and a younger uncle. Not funny, to be honest.
Why is there too much attention to this Tanya in the last season? Who the hell is that? How did she get into the series??? The producer's lover? Oh, that makes sense. Stupid, talentless actress. Although her tongue does not turn to be an actress. She can't even play a bitch to make the audience believe it. Some kind of game at the level of a school drama club, th...
It’s good that this was the last season. The script is just weak and sometimes still stupid.
From the cast can only be noted Dzhemala Tetruashvili and Olga Medinich. All. The rest in the TYUZ or in the specialized institute to improve their skills. Although many have nothing to improve, on the contrary, you need to learn from the very beginning.
When you’re in your 30s, your life is like a traffic light.
Agree that Russian TV series cause a mixed impression. In general, our series can be divided into three parts.
The first part: remakes of foreign series. Often, such series are just a low-grade product, made under the guidance of talentless screenwriters and talentless directors. I think everyone here remembers a certain series.
The second part: serials about cops. It's pretty obvious here. Once in 1997, the cult “Streets of Broken Lanterns” came out and... I will make a small digression here, the series released by the film company Dixi-TV (" Deaf, Karpov, Sword, Mine, etc.) are wonderful!
The third part: series made in Russia, in Russian, have no analogues. This is perhaps an endangered type of domestic TV series. The peculiarity of these series is their mentality. But there are. Liquidation, Brigade, Ashes...
“Lightlight” falls under the first part, but there is one “but”! The foreign analogue of this series is not known at all. Look at the number of ratings on IMDb or Movie Search to see for yourself. Therefore, to say that, here, ripped off a popular foreign series, will not be quite logical.
Next. The series is a very good cast. Many actors may be familiar to viewers in the “Women’s League”. But if that sketch caused a mixed impression, then “Lightlight” causes a positive impression.
Alexander Makogon looks brilliantly in the role of a married hen-heeled Seva, and Irina Nizina, who played the wife of Seva Tamara, no less brilliantly plays the imperious woman Tamara, a kind of representative of the Matriarchate. As the history of relations between Tamara and Seva develops, they manage to change their priorities and their attitude to each other, which only fuels interest in them.
Olga Medynich perfectly embodies the image of a kind of cunning wife who seeks benefits in relationships, while loving her husband Pasha, who affectionately calls her Gugusik, while she sweetly and naively says to him in response: “Bear!” The bear here plays Jemal Tetruashvili. We can say that Pasha is the most sincere, understanding and faithful friend of all the male trinity.
And finally, to the most posh character of this series, to Edik. Edic is a free, 37-year-old migratory bird that flies from one birdhouse to another in search of entertainment. I would never have thought that Dmitri Miller was so talented. I remember a long time ago watching the series Montecristo, where his character caused, to put it mildly, dislike. Things have changed dramatically here. Not for nothing, Miller's character is the most popular among viewers. It is enough to look at the various surveys regarding this series. Best Character, Favorite Character, etc.
The good news is that each season is no worse than the previous one. The creators in this regard try to glory. Throughout the series, the colors of traffic lights for each of the characters change several times. This is a big plus, because to look at the uniformity of the characters and the predictability of their actions is not very interesting.
Summing up, I note that “Lightlight” is a very good comedy series, where there are elements of both dramas and melodramas. The series is about the relationship of men and women, about the relationship of friends, about the relationship of fathers and children, and just about life, about such a simple life of men who are “a little over thirty.” It is logical to assume that this series is most likely of interest among men, not women. Who knows?
Because of boredom, accidentally viewing one of the series of the TV project “Lightlight”, unfamiliar to me, I did not think that I could ever get carried away with a domestic series again. And not just get carried away, but watch these small timekeeping series in a rush and without interruption. This has already happened once, and then the miracle created the first two seasons of the series “Soldiers”.
Traffic light is more than just a comedy series, or, as it is now called, “SitCom”. The project team not only approached each episode professionally, they made each episode an interesting and soulful event with a reasonable start, a rich core and a logical conclusion. An event that can easily make you laugh to the point of hysteria, but without turning into an uncontrollable dry comedy without an idea or purpose. The plot of “laughter therapy” can gently move and touch on difficult social problems, fix them in the attention of the viewer, and then send them back to irrepressible humor. Looking at everything that happens, you realize that you have been in such everyday situations more than once. And therefore, in each series, after finding yourself in it, you wait with trepidation, how the main characters will "rule out" a new turn of fate or another everyday problem. And more importantly, this series is about real male friendship, which will not be destroyed by women, nor work, nor circumstances.
You can talk about the main characters in general endlessly (I think they will enjoy reading this and not in vain, because they deserve it). Actors do not play in this series, they just live their lives, as if it is not shooting, but just someone takes their life from the outside. Only those who feel their role 100% and clearly know their place in the film, frame and script can be so liberated, not played and sincere. And, of course, the praise deserves the director himself, who forced his group not to play on the set, but just relax and be natural. And, amazingly, not only the top five actors fell in love with themselves. What are the secondary characters (Snezhan, psychologist, Boss Pasha, father and grandmother Olesi, daughter of Seva and Tamara, etc.), which have become an integral link in this holiday of good mood.
And another acting nonsense: episodic actors, surprisingly, do not annoy at all, as it happens in other projects. Looking at them, you understand that the person came to play in the episode not only for a fee, but for something else, more spiritual. There are many examples of this, almost every series gives someone new, original and long unforgettable: what is worth, for example, a housekeeper at the psychologist Tamara Ivanovna, who is impossible not to believe; a killer doctor for weight loss; different grandparents playing with dedication, weaker than young; and new girls Edika is a separate topic, always interesting and fascinating.
Summing up, you can safely close your eyes to the fact that the series is shot on a foreign idea. Ours made it no better, they made it closer to the Russian spirit and mentality. And therefore, such an adaptation with such a professional approach to your business deserves, albeit a little overstated, but the maximum assessment. Perhaps our reviews will inspire the authors and they will shoot something interesting and fun.
To begin with, I don’t watch TV at all, I don’t have it at home, I always say at a party that TV is the enemy of the company and, in short, I don’t relate to all the TV series that our television churns out. But it just so happened that a few episodes from the fourth (at the moment the last) season of this series, I still had the chance to watch. Neither the American nor the Israeli version, of course, I have not watched, so I can not compare, and therefore just share my impressions of this series.
You already naturally know what he is about, since you went down the pages and went to reviews, but I will tell you a little about the main storylines and my attitude to them. So, Siva Baranov. Savage, he always counts his (and not only) money, he is ready to go very much to get them, it is difficult for him to part with what he earned, in the restaurant Vsevolod carefully checks with the check, so as not to pay more. You know, in life, I don’t really like such people, but Seva does not cause any heartburn, on the contrary, he is kind, funny, and for the sake of his friends and family, he is generally ready to do anything. Their family life with Tamara, a powerful woman who is undoubtedly the head of the family, leaves much to be desired, and in the first season I honestly wished Vsevolod to get rid of this domestic tyrant, but then, as I got used to the characters, I began to understand that they, despite ten years of living together, still really love each other. For some reason to tears was struck by the scene of Seva leaving the house (even before the betrayal), when they decided to live separately, he said so sadly there “well, I cooked borscht, he is on the stove, you eat”. Alexander Makogon perfectly managed to convey the character of a sweet, naive, simple Seva.
Then let it be Pavel Kalachov, aka Kalach, he is aka Bear. This is probably the most cheerful and cheerful person in the company, he is always satisfied with everything, and most of all he is afraid of offending or upsetting his wife Olesya, with whom they have everything so cute that sometimes it is just too much of these favors, but I know that in a relationship it really happens, so it is quite vital. Gugusik sometimes goes overboard, for example, in the story of a car or dresses, and Pasha never says anything. In general, if Seva and Tomara have such an open matriarchy, then everything is more complicated: the main one in the family is, like, Kalach, but if Olesya says that she wants differently, it will be exactly as she says. By the way, I really liked the reasoning of the guys on the topic “when we became hen heels”.
And, of course, Eduard Serov. A womanizer, a freelancer, he used to take everything from life, well, everyone. Probably, in Moscow, he managed to sleep with half the girls, and he simply did not have any acquaintances with whom he did not sleep. By the way, when guys discuss any problem, especially related to women, he always offers some unexpected and bold way out, and he can negotiate with anyone, especially if “anyone” is female. And since he is a typical womanizer, he naturally had to fall in love in order to end his depraved life according to the laws of Hollywood. There was still such a girl who made him stop: the beautiful Liza, Tamara’s sister, she has her own opinion, and she does not jump on the neck to Edik, like the other girls, which causes his interest. To be honest, this small typicality does not spoil the series at all.
A little more about the end. There plays such a soulful soundtrack (The Brothers Grim - What Have You Done), and everything ends very soulfully, it really touches to tears, probably, because for four seasons you are terribly attached to the characters of the series, to their unbreakable friendship, to their different relationships with women, to the beautiful heroines of the series, and really hope that they all will be just fine.
By the way, the series is wonderfully selected not only the cast, but also the music, without it in general, the whole impression would be completely different, but, fortunately, it is.
In general, I strongly advise everyone to watch the traffic light, few people may not like it at all. You believe this series, because each of the stories could easily happen in real life, and that’s why.
10 out of 10
This is my first review, if anything, I apologize in advance.
The rainbow of flowers. Yes, in Russia there is a stereotype of cheap and tasteless TV series and I must say not without thoroughness, but 'Svtofor' clearly not one of them. And if ' Married with children' in my humble opinion clearly loses to the American analogue (old years), then our Russian plagiarism is head above its Israeli counterpart. Firstly, everything is done with good, I emphasize with great humor to my taste, secondly vitally and finally thirdly talented and with soul! The main actors, selected brilliantly: Edik is handsome and charismatic, conquers women's hearts with hurrah, Pasha is calm, reasonable and positive person, well, and Seva is stingy, not decisive and infantile. We ended up with three completely different types of men, three branches of storyline development. Largely due to this, each series of this series is original, funny and interesting. Personally, I am pleased to come after work and watch another series of my favorite series, the guys set a fairly high bar in previous seasons and I really hope that they will not lower it. 10 out of 10 Original
Good for you! Really funny and interesting. But more in detail:
Seva (Alexander Makogon) is a family man. Tamara’s wife (Irina Nizina) likes to tear her anger at him. No wonder Seva tries to please his wife, but does another stupid thing. To make amends, he wants to make Tamara happy again. And again, nothing good comes of it. After a while they divorced.
Pasha (Jemal Tetruashvili) is a good person, an optimist. How he gets along with Olesya (Olga Medynich) is a mystery. She's constantly 'pilit'his. At first, he personified yellow (i.e., lives with a regular girl), but then they married. Then Olesya gave birth to a son.
Edik (Dmitri Miller) is a guy who doesn't want a permanent relationship. He's loose, fun. After meeting with the girl Lisa (Antonina Komissarova), Tamara’s sister, he began to take girls more seriously and realized that he had taken too much.
Despite the differences in character, all three are friends from the first class.
Acting at a high level, it's nice. Most importantly, it's really funny.
