How two blondes spent the summer There are comedies that are not comedies at all. “Beauties” in this respect show full belonging to this shameful category. Of course, the film does not pretend to be anything more than an entertaining pacifier, but even entertaining pacifiers should ... right, entertain.
Nothing like this happens, since the work of non-professional director Lea Sturgis (I do not know whether this name bows) is completely devoid of a normal plot, any kind of humor, acting (in this case, the attempts of the involved persons are other than a curvature to call) and generally anything that would make the film complete.
What do the two main characters in question do all the time? They then pass auditions, then "catch" men on the beach surfboards, then have casual sex, then resent any trifle - in general, interesting and fun spend time. But not for the viewer. For one of their kind irritates so much that involuntarily brings boredom and yawning. Adventures of blondes are not original, not told in a fascinating way, do not stand out against the background of a million such comedies, standing a respectful mansion compared to such crap as “Pretty Women”.
To sum up, “Pretty Girls” is another absolutely talentless variation on the theme of describing the everyday life of stupid women whose purpose on earth is to serve as a consolation factor for other people who, looking at them, will feel their incredibly high intelligence and be proud of this fact. This is such an empty movie, screaming its emptiness and uselessness to the right and left that you want to smash your forehead against the wall.
