Goodness depicted The film liked its simplicity to tediousness - shows the life and growing up of a teenager from an international orphanage in Ivanovo, on the example of one of the boys.
Here, if the orphanage, then "Artek" without edges - not a single sunny day in the frame, beautiful modern buildings, a view from the hill of the location to the yar with the river - greenery and sun, sun and river, all children are busy after school, independently prepare for the carnival, in communication are noble and honest - except for elements impregnated with a craving for acquisitive usuriousness.
And if the memories are about a cheerful family life, about the courageous struggle for a bright future, where you can not bend your back either at work or when communicating with someone who has appropriated the name “elite”.
It so happened that I watched immediately after Terminator-2 and this contrast and the overall situation and options for the fight for a bright future just fascinated and chained to the screen. But the goodness of the depicted is undermined by children’s memories of the same time – “kitchen” conversations of adults, a child’s guess about the inconsistency of what he saw and surroundings. And it is not the authors’ fault in this inconsistency, or rather their fault is not in this pattern of creativity, but probably in a parallel two-, and perhaps three-thought, so widespread at the same time that we felt well by its fruits.
