"Tools k battle!" — review on story zoohorror "Production" Young man Nathan comes to his pregnant girlfriend Claire in the family estate, where her whole family lives. In the vicinity, one by one, deer begin to die, rushing to an electric fence, just going crazy. In the carcass of one of them find a stuck tooth belonging to a huge wild boar. Nicholas, Claire’s father and part-time director of a fertilizer company, along with his father Eric and brother David, with whom he does not have a very good relationship, go to the woods, taking Nathan with them. When they arrived, they could not imagine that they would have to deal with such wild boars. During the hunt, it suddenly turns out that these fertilizers cause attacks of aggression in animals. This will be the last night for many...
Little-known, undeservedly bypassed the “animal” French horror from the director Antoine Blosser on his own script in tandem with Eric Vogel. In the course of viewing, the following tapes are immediately recalled: “Boar-Sekach” by Russell Mulcay and “Boar Hunt” by James Isaac. This picture is markedly different from them. Before us is a very high-quality production: cinematographically shot competently; action non-stop from the first to the last second without any sagging; atmosphericity is present in full measure; the atmosphere of the night forest is definitely pleasing; there will be a lot of bloody and meaty scenes; there are several frightening moments; all the dialogues in fact; a good ending; the duration of this movie is small - I, however, saw the cut version lasting "one hour nineteen minutes" (there is still a version in "one hour sixteen minutes"), and in the original should be "one hour 25 minutes." I want to appeal to those who so zealously cut the most murderous scenes from many good pictures: “Guys, cut off your hands (preferably yourself), it will be better for everyone!” Gregoire Colin, who plays Nathan, handled it delightfully. The rest of the actors also played well, at least I did not see any malfunction.
I advise you to get acquainted with this rather strong, above average work, since not so many real horror films are shot in the French state, and even more so about mad animals.
