Laura Antonelli - Viuulentemente mia Diego Abatantuono, plays here a police slut with a thick mustache and a hairstyle "Afro". Laura Antonelli appears before us in the form of a sexual beast who is actively engaged in scams. The two of them will have to “pull” the entire film, because their symbiosis must regularly carve a spark and translate everything into a humorous category. A simpleton and a swindler, a douche and a cunning woman – everything is steadily coming to the “war of the sexes” imposed by Western civilization.
The frivolity of the film does not imply the presence of deep subtexts. However, the level of jokes in itself is surprising with its relaxed straightforwardness. Gags and plot compositions do not surprise, but involve in a series of stupid situations. An awkwardly twisted love line only exacerbates the effect. After all, the story about a police officer who accompanies a con artist and falls in love with her could squeeze much more.
However, the most that the imagination of the creators, is on the scene of attempts to sexually abuse the policeman by several sailors. Humor is replaced by overt racism. People who are not ethnically European are presented as potential rapists who are easily subjugated and bribed. It is not uncommon for Italian comedies of that time. Representatives of North Africa and the Middle East were often endowed with a whole bunch of the most reprehensible clichés. But that’s another story altogether.
It is also possible to note that Laura Antonelli in this film was not expressive. Perhaps since then, the actress ceased to be interested in cinema. Well, Diego is so fused with his image of sluts that he became completely indistinguishable from him. Excessive artificiality gave the opposite effect - the solo actor achieved the most negative result of all possible. He wasn't interesting. Like the movie itself.
