No surprise. Not the best creation of one of the best and respected companies producing television films - "Hellmark" (the film is listed under its label), the order of which was executed by US and Canadian studios. It seems to me that recently the company is losing the previously won positions, because year by year its products are sluggish and boring. So this film does not surprise us and does not fascinate us - so, a dull "soap" detective, in which we do not see either a tense investigation or judicial passions (compare at least with films and TV series about the "classic" lawyer Parry Mason). He does not even pull on the “family movie” because, after watching it at night, dad and mom will fall asleep right behind the TV, instead of going to their home and doing “marital duty”. There is no such thing as an unforeseeable end. It is enough just to pay attention to the notorious Smoker (now he took up cigars) from the X-Files. What is he doing here?
