"Early Cuts" After watching the main series, I still could not resist the temptation to watch this offshoot. In principle, the idea to shoot a few short scenes about the main character is not so bad, and it is unlikely that it brought serious profit to the creators to talk about squeezing money.
Immediately I want to warn you that you should watch cartoons at least after the first season of the main series, because otherwise they will be completely incomprehensible and uninteresting. However, even fans of the series can push a rather weak drawing, but, in my opinion, this is not too much of a problem, especially since each time it is different and come across even relatively good.
The first season tells three stories, I recommend watching them in translation NovaFiLM and will give a total of eight, but at a discount on the secondary product, of course.
Alex Timmons, October 2003 is the story of a former Marine sniper who killed children in Iraq. It is remarkable that here we are shown how Dexter came up with the idea of blood samples in the form of trophies.
Jean Marshall, June 1993 - The Story of a Millionaire Arsonist Notable for the fact that here we are shown how Dexter decided to buy his yacht.
Cindy Landon, March 2004, The Black Widow Story Notable only for the subject of tricks.
The second and third seasons tell two more stories, but they are best watched with subtitles from the project “Notabenoid”.
Season 2: Dark Echo is the story of Dexter's student life. Notable for showing the period of Harry's death. Unlike previous stories, it already has a more complete and self-sufficient plot, but the assessment is still the same, because something more acute is missing.
Season 3: "The whole family is here" - New Year's story. Not particularly remarkable, and not too interesting at all, although it shows an episode from Debra’s first work. Rating: 7.
In general, not the most interesting material and certainly there is nothing important here, but I would advise fans of the series to watch, simply because this timekeeping fully pays off with stories.
