Where do princes come from? Quite pleasant and uncomplicated comedy melodrama about the girl Zoe, her mother and the “frog prince”.
11-year-old Zoe is a big fan of fairy tales about knights, princesses and magic and she dreams that one day in their family there will be such a magical prince who will become her father and her mother’s husband.
After pitying the frog, which was supposed to dissect, Zoe kidnaps it and takes it to the nearest pond, kissing the frog goodbye. But the girl is distracted by a passing classmate and misses the moment when the frog jumps out of her arms, and when Zoe turns around, she sees on the shore of an insensitive man in decent clothes, but all smeared with silt and mud.
Zoe immediately decides that it was her kiss that turned the enchanted prince from a frog into a man, just like in those books that Zoe loves to read, which means she is fully responsible for the returned to human form of Prince Flynn.
Having brought the insensitive man home in a shopping cart from a supermarket, Zoe brings him to his senses and it turns out that he does not remember anything about himself. This fact is not surprising, because the enchanted prince spent many years in the frog body. Zoe takes a stranger to the bathroom, finds him clothes and hides him in her room, locking him in a closet with a flashlight and a book - the same fairy tales to bring his memory back, so to speak.
But forever to hide his prince in the closet Zoe can not, and she arranges so that the mother takes Flynn as a nanny: previously the girl creates a legend for him, prints out recommendations, instructs and dresses the “prince”.
Soon, Flynn becomes almost a member of this small family, spending time with Zoe, helping her to build relationships with her classmates and with her mother, who finally finds time to distract from her work to spend time with her daughter and just feel the beauty of the world around her.
But then, in parts, Flynn begins to return memory and he begins to remember who he is and where he came from.
The central role in the film is played by 11-year-old Kiernan Shipka, already quite an experienced young actress, starring mainly in TV series, but such known as “Heroes” and “Mad Men”.
Kiernan has already been awarded the Screen Actors Guild award in the nomination “Best cast in a drama series” ("Mad Men) and feels completely natural on the red carpets.
For her role in Kissers, Kiernan Shipka was nominated for the Young Artist Award, which is awarded to young actors for their work in film and television.
The girl coped wonderfully with her role, dramatic talent and experience are felt, and her expressive eyes are unlikely to leave anyone indifferent.
