Losers guarding the Earth Unfunny, boring, stupid, implausible and therefore completely worthless comedy, in which there is not even much to cling to to to find something bright in it.
The whole action is played out in the scenery of one room, which the designers of the film arranged as a secret government base in which a small group of people work, watching the vast expanses of space. In addition to observation, their duties include the destruction of meteorites and asteroids that pose a threat to our planet, in general, this is the first task of the guys. But even despite such a responsible work, the heroes manage to find time and fool around, and wash each other’s bones.
To call this "ugliness" a comedy, perhaps, but only with grief in half, clenching his lips and grinding his teeth. For the bacchanalia of unjustified idiocy is so overstated that it is tempting to swear at all the norms of permissible figment, calling for the immediate punishment of all the people responsible for all this.
The original hints of the creators of comedy fiction, also did not meet expectations, turning out not that ghostly, but completely invisible. All the riot of special effects is reduced to the final shooting of asteroids approaching the Earth, which, however, gives the impression of a child shooter. This shooting range is shown to the viewer, through the prism of the computer monitor of the heroes, so there is no surprise that these moments look like a long-standing PC game and also with very outdated graphics.
Of course, I am aware of the budget of this film, but should I tell you that for a talented director, big finances are a third-rate detail that contributes to the creation of a film for which he would not be ashamed. Therefore, the author is not entitled to any concessions due to small monetary resources.
They do not have the right to forgiveness and cartoon characters, although what can be said here if they were depicted by “wooden” actors, teletubbies and then people more gifted played. To explain that either in general there is no sense, and such a deep understanding for such an inconspicuous thrash is too much luxury.
