Very strange movie. I have mixed feelings for him. On the one hand, it is rare in cinema to see a film with any plot and very specific and detailed sexual scenes - because usually it is either something from a number of porn, or bed scenes are shown very fleetingly, or very distant. And here sex is shown in all its “beauty”, while not stopping for a long time at one particular sexual intercourse.
But on the other hand, the plot is something. Editing jumps back and forth, there's no sense of storytelling, just a change of location and story. There is no feeling that you move along with the plot, you need to try to understand what is happening and guess that there was a large amount of time between the editing glues.
The most unpleasant and difficult to perceive were the moments associated with the shedding of someone's genital blood, circumcision, transplantation. It's really hard to watch this.

In short, you do not know what to expect from this film, there is a porridge of comedy, three scenes, nightmare scenes and continuous and fierce sex.

Description of the plot, poster, title and reviews do not correspond to what the viewer expects when watching.
Therefore, I decided to write my review in order to at least slightly prepare those who risk brightening up their evening with this miracle.
It is difficult to follow the plot, the installation is quite clumsy, between some scenes there is quite a lot of time and the development of the characters. Many erotic scenes looked as if they were inserted for their own sake, that is, they were not really needed. Therefore, eroticism at some point comes to the fore and becomes a locomotive that pulls the rest of the plot behind it.
The poster and title conjure up thoughts of something leisurely, gentle and sensual - in the film sex is shown as a ridiculous attraction. Erotic scenes do not excite, but repel, causing bewilderment and sometimes disgust. The only thing I liked about this attraction was the ingenuity of the authors, the dexterity of the actors, and really beautiful bodies. But what they do, I would never call sex.
What bothered me the most in the film is that any oblong object can give a girl pleasure. To watch some scenes for me, as a deeply empathic person, it just hurt.
Anyway, fantasy. But not a fantasy where you can somehow put yourself in the place of the character and live his feelings, but one where you understand that the character simply cannot experience what he depicts - in any universe.
I watched the whole movie because I was curious what other thrash they would come up with. Sometimes the level of absurdity went upside down. I can't say I appreciated the creators' sense of humor. Perhaps it was just the collision of incompatible things and bringing what is happening to the absurd. I laughed a lot, but this is the kind of laughter when what is happening is so ridiculous that you start to whistle kettles.
About morality. That’s probably the only thing that really feels clear. After this film, you don’t want to change, or arrange orgies, or go to prostitutes. That's not what I expected from a movie called Sex and Zen. It’s as if you wanted these two concepts to come together, and in the film it turns out that they are in conflict and have no common ground. Either you choose sex or spiritual growth. I don’t think that’s close to me.

It is worth trying it if you want to see something about sex, human preferences, lively, bright and ironic. Humor comes first, according to my impressions.
The film is easy to perceive, like a feather of a sparrow. In the end, you have an unexpected morality.

I look forward to seeing the reviews of this movie.

Personally, watching it, I experienced the most diverse range of feelings. From laughter to intense sadness.

An interesting plot, sustained in the incomparable entourage of the Ancient East, is intertwined with beautifully shot candid scenes. The girls in the movie are very cute. The main character deserves special praise - a beautiful, slim, emotional actress.
Don’t watch this movie for sex and girls. The film doesn’t dwell on that much, its ideas are deeper and more varied. It tells us about the importance of platonic feelings, the value of mutual support between two loving people, the pointlessness of jumping over your head for dubious values, the importance of loyalty, and the detrimental effects of sexual abundance.

True, the narrative sags in places, which makes in some moments the viewing boring.
But in general, this mixture of humor, sexuality, philosophy and chanting of human values deserves high praise and is highly recommended for viewing by all intelligent, creative people, as well as connoisseurs of oriental entourage and beauty.
