The legend of the poisonous seductress. Movie two. Okatsu is the adopted daughter of sword master Makabe. His son Rintaro thinks his father loves her more than he loves him. He is a gambler and is in debt. The father's old enemy uses it to avenge old grievances. Makabe is killed and Okatsu is raped. She manages to escape, but a famous bounty hunter rushes after her.
The baton from his former assistant Yoshihawa takes cult director Nobua Nakagawa ("Hell). The trilogy acquires color, the plot becomes even less significant. Main form. More action, more blood. Spectacular fencing episodes (although Junko does not look as good with a sword as, say, Meiko Kaji).
In addition to Miyazono, Reizo Oshida acts as another avenger, who sometimes looks better than the main character. Well, closer to the final, Tomisambura Wakayama enters into action in the spectacular role of a hired hunter for criminals.
This is probably the best part of the trilogy. More rigid, with a sophisticated production, the scene in the brothel is especially interesting when we simultaneously see on the screen what is happening in all rooms at once (a kind of puppet theater). A good example of the genre.
