Nicholas Fouquet, the man who eclipsed the sun Nikolai Fouquet, the man who eclipsed the sun, was so talked about, and probably this is the image I tried to find in the series. The name itself already gave out the poor quality of this product, but why did I still try to give it a chance to at least try to charm me with a person whose image in itself without excessive makeup attracted many people? But it turned out to be much, much worse.
I’ll probably start with the historical basis of the series, which, as it turned out, is not at all. It seems that the screenwriters completely played their imagination, because the well-known verified facts did not have even a brief hint or moments in the picture. It often consists of some incomprehensible statements, moments, modern grotesque, but not the time in which she tried to place us, and the person who somehow came into contact with the historical figure of Fouquet would be completely disappointed by the scarcity and illegality of the facts that are presented in the series.
As for the characters, there is even worse, no, the game by the way is very not even bad, but the dullness of images, the inexhaustibility of characters, the boredom of life, does not give, and even better to say limits the opportunity for the creative play of the actor, who, no matter how you spin, is closed in this situation is not a qualitative and boring scenario.
The results are deplorable, one of the only series about Nikolai Fouquet, created in his homeland, turned out to be another farce, unfinished, misunderstood, and not finished. What a pity, such greatness of man, and such baseness of film-charlatanism...
